If anyone can actually withdraw from Sheep, or if you know someone that is able to withdraw.  Please let them know I will pay 1.5 BTC to be able to withdraw 15BTC through them.

They create a listing, I buy it and finalize then they withdraw the coins (and keep 1.5BTC) to another address of mine that isn't on Sheep.  Please pass it on to anyone that you know is able to withdraw.

PM Jack N' Hoff I think he was able to at one point but I'm not sure about now.

Also consider how ubiquitously prolific Jack N' HOff is. If he were to be burned, there would be instantly 100 threads on every forum.

That actually crossed my mind when is occurred to me Jack was the only person I was seeing claim he could withdraw.

whitesword who are these vendors you claim can withdraw? because all the vendors I am seeing post are stating quite the opposite. If you have credible facts to the contrary please share them.

Synergy

I talked to a vendor named trava who said he was able to withdraw after complaining on the forums.  And supposedly the vendor someguy9191 has been able to withdraw and is continuing with business as usual.

Well if I have called it wrong I will gladly eat my words and I really hope that I am wrong for the sake of everyone with btc at stake here but I am seeing little to indicate this isn't anything but a massive exit scam. Sheep really could do themselves some favors here is this is a massive fuck up on their behalf, turn the forums back on, put out a credible explanation (i.e. no countdown timers that run out and nothing happens) and get their shit together.

No offense DrawkwarD but you have 5 posts under your belt and you registered yesterday.

I'm going to withhold further judgement and see where this goes.

I agree that implementing auto-finalise before enabling resolutions seems rather unfair.

I have brought this to the attention of those who need to be made aware, I will report back when I know more.

Customer Support / Re: Is there any auto finalize at all?
« on: November 30, 2013, 05:34:10 am »
There is no auto-finalize as of yet
Syn, can you (or another mod/admin) explain how the 15-day auto-finalize happened? Why was this code implemented and not explained to users?

This has affected several of my orders which I have not received - yet the vendors now have 100% of the transaction fee, so I'll have to start a resolution with DPR/admins if those orders end up not arriving.

I'm sure plenty of other threads will start popping up on this topic in the next couple of days, here's one for example http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=4900.0

Honest answer collarbones is I only found out today when I specifically asked about auto-finalize after someone messaged me to say their order had mysteriously finalized.

I am making a representation to the dev team that all upgrades must be announced for all the obviously reasons you have just identified in your post.

BMR times out constantly and SR cant even get the forums not to time out less than half the time at its current microload. Theres two other sketch sites and thats it. Are we fucked?

Silk Road servers can handle the influx just fine.

Do you ever do anything but troll?

His name is Loki. What do you think?

Yeah I know, don't know why I even bothered posting that to be honest.

It's over folks, the blockchain is showing all the escrowed btc moving in one direction and that isn't into the imaginary tumbler. Apart from Jack I haven't seen a single other person claim to have had success at withdrawing btc for a while now.

Forums are down and big vendors on there are going for the classic FE scam.

What more do you need to call it?

Well i only have faith in SR now. Synergy can you confirm i will still only have to pay $200 next week when new registrations are open when i buy my vendor account? Hope it doesnt go up now sheep is gone!

 CaptainWhiteBeard

As far as I know there are no plans to increase the vendor bond at this time.

So the issue is only in withdrawing BTC?  Buyers can still fund and then buy without issues?  Or are the vendors not even accepting orders anymore?

Two days ago I withdrew enough BTC from Sheep to purchase two new cars.  I am also accepting orders on Sheep. :)

Still keeping the faith then?

I saw that and was wondering, how does anyone know that Bitcoin address belonged to anyone that is running SheepMarketplace ?

Same way anyone identified SR addresses: they deposit a bitcoin, and watch where it goes. Especially easy since Sheep didn't even have tumbler.

SilkRoad never had a tumbler either, but this Bitcoin address could just be one of the many wallets that are used for the escrow service that would explain why a lot of transactions are happening to and from it.

I was led to believe SR had a tumbler?

CaptainWhiteBeard

It transpires that the SR tumbler was actually more a series of transfers between accounts to obfuscate transfers rather that actually wash the coins properly.
