Technical support / Re: .onion sites not working.
« on: May 01, 2013, 07:32 pm »
No, you do NOT want to browse using the .to extension.  It is a gateway/proxy for accessing Tor sites without actually using Tor.  In other words: not secure AT ALL.  Whoever runs the .to proxy site has access to your IP address.  In fact, their page itself warns:

"By using this service instead of connecting directly to the Tor network you are trading off security and anonymity for convenience. Know that we can identify the IP of visitors using this service (but chooses not to). We strongly recommended to access Tor Hidden Services directly using the Tor Browser Bundle to increase your security and anonymity."

I have pushed the issue multiple times with no response, probably because inigo and DPR were dealing with the site attacks over the last week or so.  Hopefully things will get back on track soon and they'll get to catch up on scam reports.

Customer support / Re: SR Support, No Respone in 3 Days?

There's nothing we can do from our end here on the forums.  You can try sending support another message, but be aware that flooding them with multiple messages isn't going to speed up their response.

Are you contacting them via the link at the bottom of this page?:

No, there is no way to determine that info.  Locking this thread as resolved.

Technical support / Re: Someone withdraw btc from my account :(
« on: May 01, 2013, 07:06 pm »
So your btc were sent to the backup bitcoin address you had in your settings?

Do you normally have to enter your pin to withdraw btc to your back up address?

I can't get in right now cuz I think the whole west coast is but I'm curious hmm.

If you're using the "withdraw bitcoins" section on your account page, then, yes, you need to enter your PIN.  If you're talking instead about the backup address for use in case the site ever goes down permanently, then I would think you wouldn't need the PIN for that since the whole thing is in place for emergency dispatch if the site were ever to go down permanently.

Props to the DPR/SR crew. Respect.

Could very well be Atlantis behind all this. Figures if it is. Did it work? Yeah, they got some business and people to try which might not have otherwise. But they won't prosper.

Karma don't play that.

Karma don't play that.  :D  Agreed!

Sorry, but stolen info is not permitted to be sold here.

All I know was I was banned and was still allowed my funds, but then again I was not scamming people and deserved every cent back.

Yeah, I think this was the difference.  You weren't scamming people or stealing anyone's money, so your funds weren't frozen (thankfully!).  coachella420, on the other hand,  deserved having the funds frozen .
