Customer support / Re: Sent 10.499 BTC never arrive
« on: February 16, 2013, 10:04 am »
SR was not hacked, please refrain from spreading unsubstantiated fear.

If the transfer is showing up in the blockchain and you have send the coins to the correct address then the issue resides at the SR end and you will need to contact SR support.

Given events over the weekend you may be waiting slightly longer for response though so please be patient.

I cannot give you a definite answer due to the issues with people using incorrectly credited coins that were not in fact bit coins to make purchases with. In your case you should be ok given you had enough actual bitcoins to pay for a vendor account but things may have gotten rather confused.

SR support will clear things up with you.

Customer support / Re: SR Wallet Address
« on: February 16, 2013, 09:52 am »
I am getting the SAME exact problem looks like this:

"Once you are ready, send your deposit to this address:
Nothing no address just a big blank space where the bitcoin address should be.
I cant add bitcoins and im very ANGRY :(

Complaining about this issue across multiple threads will not make it any easier for either myself or the admins to resolve your issue. Inigo has posted a detailed response in the other thread you have posted in re this, please contain your posts from now on to just the one thread so I do not make multiple reports of your issues.

A number of people have experienced this issue, I will send a report to inigo for follow up.

Customer support / Re: SR account balance in the negative
« on: February 16, 2013, 09:40 am »
So, after the dust settled, my SR balance stands at -0.62.  Granted, I did have some orders canceled.  But, it seems like we should be on even ground now, not me in the hole for $16.  Maybe an admin could get back to me?

So did you attempt make orders with coins that were credited to your account in error?

Customer support / Re: Missing BTCs

SR support are the only people who can assist you I am afraid and yes reading the other threads in this sub forum there would appear to be others experiencing similar issues.

It may take a few days for SR support to get back to you given the number of people affected, please be patient.

Hi there,

You will need to wait for SR support to get back to you regarding this and as I am sure you will appreciate they are pretty slammed right now.

The accounting discrepancies were not actual bitcoins so SR support will be able to differentiate between those that were credited in error and the real coins that you sent to your SR account.

It will most likely take a few days for SR support to get back to you, please be patient.

Silk Road discussion / Re: Chinese hackers have infiltrated SR!!

I'd actually like to hear from the mods on this -

is it helpful for regular users to mark obvious spam threads such as this one?

I don't know what the censorship rules are for the forums,
but am I wasting time (mine and yours) by reporting spam to the mods?

Good idea, I will edit the original thread title labeling it as SPAM.

I just picked up your report treebeard, keep reporting them.

Pluto - when using hair straighteners, how long do you need to apply the heat to the foil?
2 to 3 seconds, it's quick and easy :)

I hear on the grapevine that JesusOfRave (JOR) is getting on board with the MBB options and creating a new ninja stealth option, great to hear!!

Any other vendors coming around to this idea?

I will update the OP with a list of vendors who are adopting these practices in the next week or so, lets see how many get on board.

Jeese, and mods are so quick to delete my silly posts. . .  at least my posts are the truth!

Its true, any post you make that are negative or teach people about other escrow services out there. .. they get deleted.
You can only post about happy things and positive reviews about vendors. or face the consequences . . muuhhoooohaa. .  Banned, deleted posts. . etc. ... I was helping newbies for free a while back.   Some mod who offers help to newbies for bitcoins didn't like that.  He banned me f I'll probably get banned again for posting this (sigh)

and yet. . . this thread remains. . . go figure.   Whats the deal????  Why do these threads remain while mine get deleted?

Do you have any evidence to substantiate that claim mate? because I'm calling bullshit.

I for one do not delete posts unless someone has posted something really fucking stupid like identifiable information or it is a blatant scam. I couldn't give a fuck about some negative musings about a vendor and I'd say the same goes for scout too (feel free to chime in scout).

So before lighting a fire under another censorship debate (remember the Roky debacle?) I suggest you get your facts straight.

I agree. Ban this MF Im sure he already would be if DPR and crew weren't so busy

I take direction from DPR on such matters and we do not ban trolls unless they break the rules.

You have no idea how tempted I am to start deleting these bullshit spam threads.

Ah, I see.  Now I feel stupid...I apologize for my outburst.  I've been drinking bourbon for the past few hours and got a little carried away.  Excuse my drunken retardedness....this happens after a fifth of bullit rye and some kratom.  Again, I apologize...and I feel like the drunken ass I am.  Won't let it happen again...

Mate I love your rant and I'm glad you have now caught up  ;)

Yes the forum account user named 'Fuck DPR' is an annoying troll but we tolerate diversity here even when the ban hammer may seem appropriate.

Rant on... it's what people do when SR goes down  ;D
