I know they can't send you anything illegal but what if they pose as a seller to collect addresses and blacklist them?  anyone heard of them using this tactic?

What do you think the forums are for?

Do your research before buying from a vendor.

Simple.

SR does not have a support center with a staff of 500, the fact there are only 2 moderators and 1 admin on here might give you an idea.

Please, it is not my intention to sound facetious but you need to be more patient, as you know SR had some big glitch issues over the weekend, I appreciate your frustration, SR support will get back to you but it will probably take a few more days.

Silk Road discussion / Re: Sending 3+ packages to your home at once
« on: February 17, 2013, 12:15 pm »
Has anyone done this? Does customs keep track of how many packages come in at once?

I am buying come cocaine, and I am choosing 3-4 vendors and getting a gram from each. Does the post office really keep a close eye on how many packages are getting delivered t you?

If you are ordering to your home address or an address that is easily linked directly to you then what are you thinking? or maybe you are not thinking hence this thread?

You are ordering illegal drugs through the postal system probably importing them from overseas, you are not ordering something from eBay.

FFS please wake up to the risks you are taking and stop treating this place with such a blasé attitude.

One shipment in transit at any given time is as much as you should be ordering unless you are using anonymous drops.

Newbie discussion / Re: Why is FE bad or good?
« on: February 17, 2013, 12:00 pm »
Please, before you do anything further on SR make sure you READ as much info on the forums as possible, I really mean that.

If you FE you release the funds to the vendor and from that point forward you will have no recourse to SR resolution center if you run into any difficulties e.g. your shipment does not arrive, what you receive is not as described etc.

The escrow system is there to protect both you and the vendor, if you go outside of escrow SR resolution cannot and will not be there to help you.

If you FE you assume all of the risk, if you choose to do that live with your decision.

Newbie discussion / Re: Hey "FUCK YOU TOO" Dick head administrators!
« on: February 17, 2013, 11:50 am »
Are you kidding me? I mean.. nah.. it's cool, because I knew there would be at least one person telling me I don't have a right to bitch. Another reason I even chose to start this thread was to get more posts in dummy. Lol People never cease to surprise me. I usually make the best of it, but like I've stated it's not been the most lax day. I also initiated this to hopefully get some attention on the subject. I fully believe that this new rule should be reevaluated for it's pros, cons and legitimacy. It seems a little prejudice and lazy to me to just force people to post when they don't want to or make it difficult for them to want to post at all. When I first started using Silk Road and the forums it wasn't a requirement to have all these posts. I have every right to be upset. I don't like that you're accusing me of taking the road for granted either, because I love it. It's helped save my life to a dramatic extent, but that's really not the point at all. To act like I'm not aware of all of this just because I disagree with a new rule unrelated to actually purchasing something is insulting much like I find it insulting that before I could post freely and when I'm trying to give a good review to a loyal seller I can't. And on that note. I doubt you'll see this, but thank you Jennifers! You're my main bitch. Those women always hook it up and have the best customer service I've experienced so I think they deserve some feedback without going through this Obama reform to do it. The fact is that as amazing and beautiful SR is as a personal godsend to me and our online community alike it's a business and I'm  paying customer. And sure a high post count shows dedication. I've always liked that about all forums. It makes it fun. This is not fun. It's a giant totalitarian pain in the ass! Hey Faces. When did you even join the road yourself? A week ago? Cuz if that's the case then I guess... "No, you don't understand what's it's like to be a frequent customer and not be able to post in the desired section." Spent all the time and money I have into this thing!! Mind your place Jr. And the other one. The b999 guy. Funny! (: ... But you've still chosen to be my enemy. I do have the right to bitch, because I was apart of this before the policy was implemented. I was already more apart of the forum than any of you just tuning in. It's like being demoted. And thanks scout for the info, but it's still a weak policy. I've personally never been scammed yet. The most trouble I had is how annoying it was to see the same thread posted over and over again. "Cheap Coins" Blah blah blah. I feel bad for those who have been scammed, but I don't think this is necessary. Not everybody is a posting whore. This isn't even the only forum I use in life. It's very time consuming to go through all this trouble. I have other things to do to you know!?

That was my last take until PrincessHIGH posted, but I still stand by my idea to start the thread cuz otherwise I wouldn't have known any of this. 50 posts is still a lot! It could be lower for sure. And I can rant if I want to fag. Your bitch probably never screamed as hard in her life than from our great experience... You know? When I fucked her. She said you won't do the freaky shit she needs.

PARAGRAPHS PLEASE!

Ok thank you for the update.

There is no reason your SR password should just stop working, you will need to contact SR support and probably have your password reset if this issue persists and there will be a holding off period of 3 days for that to happen.

Stating the obvious I know but I would not advise depositing anymore BTC to that account until this issue is resolved.

I saw a news article on the BBC website the other day saying that Domino's pizza in the UK was going to start accepting bitcoin for orders, it is getting some unstoppable momentum behind it now, watch is rise!

Correct.

Using Mr and Mrs is fine, but fake names can cause you hassle. If a postman regularly delivers your mail he knows the names of the occupants, if he sees foreign mail addressed to a new name he will get suspicious.

This has been discussed many many times but it keeps coming up. If you live in a metropolitan area I can guarantee you will receive mail addressed to the previous occupants and/or random people all the time. I can only speak for the Australian situation but I have never had an issue using fake names. It might be different if you live in bum fuck nowhere with a population of 5 then yes I can imagine using a fake name might raise some interest but in capital cities there is no chance it's going to cause you an issue, in Australia anyway.

I get things are different in the US where names and addresses are linked, in countries like Australia this is not the case. Make your own mind up, if you want to order drugs to your home address addressed to your real name then go for it, you are more game than me.

If using a fake name is obviously going to cause you issues then do not do it, the point I am making is there are many situations you can do it without issue. I know if it came to it I would rather be saying "oh sorry officer I do not know anyone of that name living at this residence" compared to answering "can you please explain why you have this parcel of drugs addressed to you that has been sent in the mail?".

Each to their own I guess and I know this will continue to get bounced around the forums...
