Rumor mill / Re: Cocain at Silk Road - the truth
« on: April 06, 2013, 10:19 pm »
I responded to this in another thread but just to reiterate I would disagree with the assertions that most coke on SR is meth. I would agree that finding HQ coke can be quite a challenge.

Customer support is not the appropriate place for a cocaine vendor discussion though so I am moving this to off rumor mill where it belongs. .

Pleased it all came good for you mate, I'll lock this thread now as resolved.

OP updated with new vendors using MBB.

Also good to see some discussion on the safe sourcing of these materials, there are many options for buying these materials, just make sure you do it as safely as possible ensuring the sale cannot be linked to you in anyway, stating the bloody obvious I know.

Off topic / Re: Vendor roundtable compromised
« on: April 06, 2013, 03:33 pm »
I consider the roundtable to be watched more than the regular forum........ Never expose anything anywhere anytime for ANY REASON!!!! It's like snitching on yourself.

^^^This

Anyone with any common sense would consider all info posted on these forums is getting read by LE. The very concept of the vendor roundtable being "compromised" by having my mod it is also laughable but everyone is entitled to an opinion. How many members does this place have now? 59,000+? how many vendors have vendor status for their forum accounts? I must get 50+ requests a week from people asking for this, either way the point I'm making is there are plenty of eyes in there already. If you feel the current arrangements are putting anyone at risk I'd invite those people to take a good look at what they are posting, as blueveil said its like snitching on yourself if you are feeling compromised.

And to be quite honest what gets posted in there would be of minimal interest to most people anyway, no offense intended vendors but you know what I'm talking about, its hardly an LE dream database of incriminating evidence. In saying that though I do take vendor privacy very seriously and fully appreciate the need for you guys to have safe space to discuss your business.

Not sure what your beef is with me Roky and too be honest I don't really care as my time on here is spent dealing with far more important matters than whatever little agenda it is you have going on. I'd prefer it if you didn't make up bullshit allegations or try and cast dispersions by spreading FUD but I'm not going to get drawn into another ugly flame war with you. I wasn't even going to dignify this thread with a response but after reading some of the kind words of other forum members I thought I should at least acknowledge those individuals and say thanks.

Customer support / Re: BankofBTC Scam / Agency
« on: April 06, 2013, 09:04 am »
Report the vendor, hopefully that will result in some action, MP for BTC is the easiest scam on SR though, there are only a couple of legit vendors I have heard of for this service in the US, not something I am comfortable recommending though so please thoroughly research on the forums, surely there are safer ways of buying BTC in the US than MP via a vendor though?? In AU we can buy anonymously with cash deposit over the counter in most banks.

If you are unable to remember your password I think you may want to give yourself an uppercut and start over  :P

In my experience free samples have been custom links sent by the vendor.

@samesamebutdifferent:
thanks for reading and commenting on this thread, I also think this matter is highly relevant to vendors security in general.
You mention contacting SR staff- do you mean the account on SR that sent the first PM once registered as a vendor (I dont know if its okay to post the name of the account).
I did contact that account and am awaiting further communication. If thats not the correct account I would appreciate, if you could point me towards the right direction.
I still hope the issue is to be solved amongst the buyer and me but still then, I would not like to skip on the earnings of the site with the order and still need advice how to handle the payment if the buyer cooperates.
thanks in advance.

After your issue the SR wiki has been updated:

Sorry you had this experience, you highlighted an issue that wasn't covered in the sellers guide, I have now passed this up and the wiki has been updated.

The SR support I previously referred to are contacted via the main site, the links are in the FAQ sticky at the top of this board.

Well at least that is a relief. Hope you get control of your account back soon.

To be honest it doesn't sound very encouraging if they are not responding to your messages. If it doesn't work out as planed report the vendor but SR support will be unable to assist you with this transaction because  scout already pointed out these are considered out of escrow deals, sorry  :-\

What sort of transaction were you trying to conduct via moneypak with this vendor?

Customer support / Re: BTC Withdrawal Help
« on: April 06, 2013, 05:27 am »
Ok, so I'll say up front that I'm a total noob. The good news about this is that it's probably an easy question to answer. The bad news is that I'm a noob, lol. I just made my first BTC withdrawal from my wallet to my account (maybe) about an hour ago. The first time I tried it said "insufficient funds" so I dropped the amount by .05 and tried again. This time it took me to basically a blank page. I didn't make not of the URL but I didn't see that it was a page that was still loading. It was done loading. I gave it around 6 minutes and it was still a blank page so I hit the back button and tried another withdrawal for the same amount. This time I get "insufficient funds" again. Tried a few more times eventually dropping by .3. Each time I get the "insufficient funds" message. My wallet and SR account balances have not changed yet. My question is if the 2nd transaction I made that went to the blank screen worked and I just need to wait until tomorrow to see the change or not. It doesn't make sense to me that dropping down by .3 BTC would still give me IF error unless that 2nd one was successful and I truly do have IF because it's processing. Am I being too impatient or too paranoid, or am I missing something or doing something wrong? Can an admin check something like this for me? Also, I show no account history yet. Dunno what that's supposed to show me or how often it's updated but just FYI in case that helps. NE assistance would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have you factored in the transaction fee? the numbers you are quoting should more than cover any transaction fee though, it's normally set as a default of 0.0005 BTC or something like that. not sure what service you are using i.e. what wallet.

As SS stated it can take several hours to hit your account if your transfer worked, looks like it hasn't so far. Maybe give some more info as there is not enough in the OP to enable someone to provide a proper response.

If the order you are referring to has been marked as in transit then the order can be finalized however I sincerely doubt that will be on the agenda of whoever does have access, I am assuming you tried to log in via a phishing site and gave out your pin number? they will be more interested in stealing any coins from your account rather than your outstanding orders. Hopefully SR support will have locked your account in time and reset your pass phrase etc.

Hope it works out ok!

« on: April 06, 2013, 02:38 am »
I wasn't aware you had not had any responses from support since February, have your messages been read? if it makes you feel better yes I agree if that is what has happened then it is an issue, I have never heard of anyone not get any response before, just sometimes waiting longer periods to hear back. I am not involved in SR support activities so I have no idea what happened in your case.

I sense I am becoming the target of your frustrations in this matter, I have tried to answer your posts as best I can, beyond that I am unable to assist you further.
