Customer support / Re: First experience here, cash stolen
« on: June 13, 2013, 08:59 pm »
Ah sorry for misunderstanding your circumstances, no offense intended.

Yeah it happens mate, happened to me and just about everyone else, do what you are doing and share your experience, talk to others on here you are tight with and move past it, sucks I know.

I've bumped that vendor up to the admins for a closer look but please make sure to submit customer support tickets on the market site as well as hitting the 'report vendor' option too.

Best thing you can do is invest a lot of time, effort and energy into vendor selection, especially when you are first getting started out on the road. Try sending some pm's to some established forum members and bounce some of your research findings off them to see if they will help you. It is generally frowned upon to just go asking for vendors of choice without having done some hard work yourself given we have all run the gauntlet of trying to find the honest and reliable vendors, no one is going to just offer that info up on a silver plate.

Everyone gets burnt a few times in the beginning, it's all part of the learning process but don't be too disillusioned by the experience, just learn from it and move forward. It is only those who do not learn by their experiences who continue to get scammed time and time again.

As the post above says, take the order into the resolution center.

For more information on how escrow and the resolution center works please refer to the SR wiki, there is a link in the sticky at the top of this board.

Silk Road discussion / Re: New scam from Sc0ut, not Scout
« on: June 13, 2013, 08:21 pm »
I assume they were hoping the reader would be pretty stoned out of their logical mind to get this to work.

Well when I checked the blockchain after some of the previous PM scam attempts to see how many people had actually sent their coins I was quite shocked as to how many people had fallen for them.

I'm under the impression that they just send coins to themselves to make it look legit.

If only, the opportunity to 'invest' in SR and some of the scams specifically targeting vendors caught a few people out I'm afraid.

Every envelope passing through to the worlds smallest continent passing canine inspection seems a bit extreme.

During the past few weeks the Australian Federal Police in conjunction with the Boarder Security agencies have been running a joint operation on drugs in the mail, seizure rates are significantly up across the board and some vendors have even changed their T&C to reflect this operation.

Under normal circumstances obviously things are no way near that tight however when they decide to up the ante we normally only get to hear about it after the operation has concluded and the no shows start to clock up.

Passing canine detection by implementing methods that are just as easy to use as less effective methods i.e. vac sealing is a no brainer, there is a reason my refund rate is incredibly low after some 90+ transactions, I select my vendors very carefully and we talk stealth before the order gets made.

No MBB = no sale these days.

Rumor mill / Re: FrequentFlyers Feedback Thread
« on: June 13, 2013, 07:53 pm »
Ordered 5 tabs on Friday the 7th to West Coast US, still no sign of package. I will update when it gets here hopefully.

Same, expect I got mine today and someone had carefully been slit open on the edge, and removed the stuff. Looks too neat to be a postal employee.  FrequentFlyers you scamming brah?

Hey Mindblower/InfiniteSource, I thought you were gone. You're the scammer, we all know that. And you are also mentally ill. Thanks for all the attention though, weirdo.

@Gettingtrippy. Please let me know if your package arrives today. Thanks
Excuse me? I'm not him? Nice way to screw someone over, asshole.

MindBlower = InfiniteSource = coachella420 and probably others and I am happy to pull up the thread where you openly admitted to being InfiniteSource if you like, that's if you are insisting on still trying to pull the same yawntastic bullshit as normal.

Seriously dude wtf is your issue(s)? why do you keep on persisting with this lame attempt to pretend to be someone you are not, identity issues maybe?

I'm seriously wondering if we need a sticky thread listing all the known shills, peoples attention spans of here tends to be short and I see daily how posting from the same people under different accounts is used to fuck with vendors businesses and/or incite drama just for the hell of it. Those who follow the forums in detail know what I am talking about but many others just latch onto a post/thread here and there and form an opinion.  It is entirely possible to just keep repeating posting certain stuff without any evidence and some people will start to believe it because it becomes an 'established' fact without any proof. If you need a golden example of this read a recent thread by forum member WhistleBlower.

That's why you should never give out personal info on here and never FE

always good advice!  also, scammers and law enforcement has been here since day 1, but as long as you don't give out personal info and encrypt your mailing address, and never finalize early, a lot of those people's scams/agenda can be avoided.

I'm afraid not, the 72 hour wait period is mandatory for security reasons, it used to be 7 days.

Customer support / Re: Vendor not responding - Item not received
« on: June 13, 2013, 01:16 pm »
Absolutely, report the vendor and/or send in a customer support ticket via the market site alerting the admins to the issue. If they see one ticket they may not take too much notice but if they see 3, 4, or 5... then yes they will sit up and take notice.

Off topic / Re: The Australian Thread

Would Belgium be considered risky as far as orders go ?

Also last week during the middle of the Slow packages from the UK, I had one sail through.
Only 7 days after I ordered it  :)

& here we have exhibit A.

Lock this thread, full of knuckleheads who talk too much.

People were wondering if packages had been getting through, no vendors were named.
No packaging was talked about, thats what the thread is for.
Whats next wont be able to talk about SR ?

I wish this thread didn't exist, you know why? because it does LE's job for them

Wanna know why I leave it up? because I know if it gets deleted 10 more brain dead aussie threads will pop up to replace it.

Read the first page of this thread.

You will never get a legit PM on the forums or the market site asking for your BTC, be that exclusive membership to SR2 the inner circle, to help DPR buy a new server (because they are short of money) or to help a mod out

All scams, all BS
