I can't believe people are still falling for the Atlantis phishing site scam creating accounts with the same credentials as SR.

If you are unaware of the reasons you shouldn't use your phone to access SR you really need to spend some time in the security section reading up on the potential issues associated with what you are doing.

I've heard of other people using their phones as well. I have an app which is the phone equivilent to tor and ggives me a fake ip...

But anyway I was only using my phone so I could finalize my order. Is there any way an admin coukd access my account and finalize my order from pleaseprayformojo... I feel bad I can't finalize it and obviously I don't want to wait until it auto finalizes

Highly doubtful I'm afraid, I suggest you find a way to get in front of a proper computer and finalize the order yourself.

Look I'm sure there have been instances of this happening but if a vendor was to try to pull that type of scam more than once it would come to the attention of the admins as others started to complain of the same issue.

Tracking is the only tool vendors have to protect them from scammers too remember so if the tracking says it was delivered then as far as they are concerned that's normally an end to the matter.

Take your time with vendor selection, just because of the shady behavior of a very small number of people do not assume this type of scam is endemic, the vast majority of vendors just want to vend with as few hassles as possible and unhappy buyers cause a LOT of hassles.

How long ago did you make the transfer?

How many confirmations does the transfer have on the blockchain?

And yes you are correct, all BTC wallet addresses both past and present remain linked to your account, I suspect you may have been a little impatient in making your post an your coins have now arrived anyway. If not and its been longer that 12 hours contact SR support via the market site and have them look into it for you.

You need to have made at least 50 posts before you can create threads outside of this board and the newbie sub forum.

Please refer to the SR wiki, link below:

Dont refund them. Whats the point of having terms if your not going to enforce them?

^^^This and their stats are very weak as well so if they want to take it to resolution they probably won't will get very far. Is this really over just one pill? fuck me, I could never even imagine ordering just one single pill let alone complaining if it didn't show up if that is indeed what really happened of course. At the post above said enforce your T&C  and if they leave you some shit feedback it shouldn't make much of a difference to your rating anyway.

You should name the vendor to warn others.

Re your order at this stage the vendor is the only person who can cancel, if you continue to have issues then take the order into resolution when you are able and state your case there. You can only get assistance for this via the market site, you need to submit a customer support ticket detailing what has happened.

The Silk Road's position is that you should not FE and that you should instead use the escrow system.

Blaming the staff because people go against their advice and bypass the escrow system makes no sense at all.

It would be counter productive for the staff to try to stop people from FE'ing when they want to. Freedom is the freedom to do something stupid.
I didn't FE but now my money's been locked up in an obvious scammer's account for two weeks now.  That is an administrative failure, as I see it.  I'd have ordered from you already if my money was refunded.  Instead, it's now too late to get it in time for my travels and there's less money flowing in to legitimate vendors such as yourself as a result.

I agree that getting scammed by FE is simply user error.  But there's more to this issue than that.

Considering the vendor was only banned a few days ago how have your funds been locked up for two weeks and how is that an administrative failure?

Seriously I never cease to be amazed by the attitude of some people, you are buying illegal drugs off the internet for fucks sake, am I the only one who is still amazed that you can take your order in resolution and get a refund if it doesn't arrive or there is an issue with the vendor?

I am sorry for those who got scammed, I really am but anyone who FE for this vendor gave up their protection as soon as they released the funds from escrow.

Anyway I have been pressing the FE issue with DPR this week and he has agreed to bring this to the community for discussion soon once the new rating and review overhaul has bedded down so watch this space.

From my perspective things have tightened up a lot over the last 6 months and even the FE scams that have taken place have been no way near as big as those previously and I have personally seen vendors accounts locked out before they could even make off with the FE'd funds.

So if PE was locked out, surely even the people that FE'd should be reimbursed?

Latest reviews had the link to Atlantis in them. Followed by an item review stating: 'PIECE OF SHIT ATLANTIS COCKSUCKING MOTHER FUCKER HACKED MY ACCOUNT!!! FUCK ATLANTIS!!!!!!!'

Yes, I stupidly followed one of these phishing links on PE's feedback. Then got my account hacked and the hackers FE'd the order I had on hold with PE; so as they could leave more phishing links.
SR if they did freeze his funds could make a lot of unhappy people happy again here by doing the right thing.

Anyone who FE after PE was locked out of their account can be refunded yes. Those who FE before will probably not because rogue vendors tend to withdraw the funds off SR thus putting them out of SR's reach.

When you guys receive regular express business mail or a small satchel bag, do you find it more often arrives with the normal post (motorbike postman) or in the Aus Post van?

The only time you need to worry is when it comes in a Holden Commodore ;)

Here we go... everyone's a expert when it comes to running the country   ::)
Well I know that I could run this country better than the cunts who are up for election ATM.
Laws would be relaxed for many things, implicating freedom of choice for citizens and visitors.

If I were to run the country, these would be my objections:

Drugs would be fully decriminalised, or legalised. Even suppliers would be exempt
Pathetic laws such as fining people for "jaywalking" and not wearing a helmet would be scrapped.
Driving laws would be far more lenient. But the test required to take a license would test more aspects. Not how to drive on a few roads and do a reverse park and a 3-point turn. People need to know what todo and how to control a vehicle in certain situations.

I would promote liberty and self-responsibility and allow people to make their own decisions on how to run their life.
If they want to use coke everyday, they know the risks - Let them decide to take them. Alcohol is already in that category.

Dingo for PM!

I love this country but the nanny state policies here do seriously piss me off, some self determination and assumption of personal risk is well needed.

The only issue I guess is there are a quite a high number of fucktards in Australia (no offence intended to any fucktards reading this) who are too stupid to take responsibility for themselves, maybe some social Darwinism is what is needed... who knows.

You'd get my vote though Dingo ;)
