Silk Road discussion / Re: Personal plea from vendor Asylum
« on: December 16, 2012, 08:29 pm »
Please, everyone, memorize the url. This is how i remember it. silkroad vb (I remember the term visual basic) then I buy 5piz(zas) and 3r(etrurned) with .onion...
so, if i ever have a tough time remembering its pretty easy to type silkroadvb5piz3r.onion...  We may not be able to help many noobs but for those that aren't new, should know better.. But, we all make mistakes..

Silk Road discussion / Re: New Price for Seller Account
« on: December 10, 2012, 05:26 am »
The price for a sellers account is now indeed 500.00 dollars. IMHO its still too cheap. There are many reasons why the price was increased. I had to comment about why we didn't announce it. Could you imagine all the people buying up accounts at 150.00 and then reselling them at a profit? It would have defeated the purpose.

99 percent of good vendors won't have an issue coming up with 500 bucks. Like I said, I think its still a very good deal, plus it will help secure SRM more.

Silk Road discussion / Re: gangster16 SCAMMER!!! TOOK $1000 FROM ME
« on: December 06, 2012, 06:12 am »
We do our best to demote these scammers as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, by the time we investigate, a lot of people have been scammed, but rest assured, we take action the second we learn of it.... Sorry for those scammed, Hopefully one day we will have a way to prevent these. But for now, I would either stick to the well known bitcoin vendors or go to one of the well known bitcoin exchanges..

Ban taken care of....At least here on the forums.

I think someone mentioned it. But, the system is automatic. If you price something at 15 dollars, it will stay close to that 15 dollars, doesn't matter if the bitcoin goes up or down...

BTW, tis the season to buy bitcoins....

We have been seeing this glitch on and off. It seems to correct itself. But, if it continues, try to refresh/restart your computer. I have heard that installing the latest Tor bundle and then resetting your pin has helped..

As long as you have thought it out and have taken care of all the angles. Just don't do it on the spur of the moment. Talk to someone, give it a few days, see how you feel then...

« on: November 19, 2012, 05:15 pm »
Hey I got the reset pin message 8 days ago, I couldnt read the message and contacted SR that didnt give me any new info. Now I erased the message by mistake clearing out my box of messages. So now what do I do, I have 40btcs in there I can't even touch. Any help would be appreciated `

If you erased it, you will have to say that you erased it and unless there isnt any messages/ proof that its been at least 3 days, then unfortunately, you will have to wait 3 more days... its there to protect you guys..

Technical support / Re: SR Support not getting messages?
« on: November 19, 2012, 07:56 am »
Remember, that first message you usually get is a link. its not clickable. you have to copy and paste it to view it. I just tells you the rules on resetting your pin. As of this writing, you have to use all of your 5 attempts and then you can ask for a reset, but you should then wait 3 days and then ask for one. when it says you have to wait 3 days, dont immediately respond and say "need new pin" wait until the 3 days are up and the pin will be reset...

So here is what you should do. 1. use all of your attempts (5) and then it sends and auto message then 2. send a message saything that you need a new pin,  3. wait 3 days and then ask for a new pin.. We will then reset your pin.. I can't tell you how many people don't bother to read the instructions..  when it says please respond in  3 days, RESPOND IN 3 DAYS, not immediately... This will make things go much smoother for you and customer support, trust me..

Rumor mill / Re: FE. Is it really fair?
« on: November 19, 2012, 02:26 am »
If you don't feel comfortable FE, then DON'T!!!! I don't recommend that anyone finalize early. Personally, I would move on to another vendor. I cant believe all the problems that are caused by  FE.  I sort of understand why some vendors want some to FE, for new members or to members with bad stats. But, I would say that 90 percent of all the issues buyers are having are because of them FE.

Just don't do it.. If you do, don't come complaining!!!
