Is there still a SILC service?

Haven't really been around since 2011 wondering if there are still any xmpp/silc/irc open chatrooms?

Not right now, but a SilkRoad IRC server is definitely on the drawing board.

It would be great to see an official SilkRoad IRC unlike the unofficial IRC that was around the last forums was mainly ChemCat and the close circle of friends and not so much about anything to do with the site or forums.

there's already a pretty active IRC that has evolved from the old SILCroad room. PM me for details.
