Question for DPR, or any of the mods...
« on: November 05, 2013, 10:42:15 am »
Thanks for coming in to the thread to begin with, I know how busy you guys are.

I know I'm not the only one wondering this, but how do you guys expect the site to run when you launch it? I mean, there will be a huge amount of traffic hitting the site all at once.. Can the site handle it? Or will it be slow and unresponsive?

How do you expect it to go?

I can't thank any of you guys that took part in the sites development enough for bringing the road back to us, long live the silk road!

I'm glad you posted your question here, instead of PM'ing a Mod actually. I'm sure that they are all busy making sure the launch goes smooth.. And i'm sure that they are doing everything that they can to make sure the launch goes as smoothly as possible.

DPR posted that they may need a few extra hours before launch, makes me feel a little more confident about the sites security.

No answer from DPR or the mods which can only be a good thing.. Some serious work must be getting done on the site!

Quite simply - we have no idea, but the forum has received over 1.75 million views in 4 weeks and we're cruising past our records for the most online repeatedly for the last few hours.
