Logged out again here, experiencing 2/3 digit CAPTCHA's again which are impossible to complete. I am in multi-tab too if that is relavent, all cookies/cache etc were cleared before I logged in after SR came back online.

Thanks for the report.  That is actually a separate and known issue that we are still working on.

still down never returned for me . been down the whole time, this is beyond serious, i have very large orders to deal with. this downtime is killing my business, it is.

If you are unable to access Silk Road right now, you are an isolated case.  Most everyone is accessing just fine.  The first thing you need to do if you are having problems is restart your browser.  When you say it is down, what exactly happens when you try to go to the main URL? (https://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion.to)

I agree with your points, but I think there are other things to consider.  Like Inigo said, just because the government still wants to control your drug use, doesn't mean we haven't won the drug war.  With Silk Road, you can now get virtually any drug you want delivered directly to you, with little chance of them even knowing about it.  In a very real sense, we've won the war on drugs.  I'm not saying it's time for a victory lap, but I can at least see the light at the end of the tunnel.

On top of that, times are changing as well.  Something like 19 states in the US have decriminalized marijuana.  I could very easily see the feds giving up the war on pot at least.  Also, if the economy sinks into a depression, people will get less concerned with the private activities of others and focus more on their own survival.  If the drug war became bad policy with the middle class because of its wasteful spending, it could very well be dropped in order to win votes.

never say never

should be fixed now.

your settings page can also be found from the side bar on your account page.

this bug has now been fixed.  if you are still experiencing the problem, please log out, log back in, and try again.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

I sent them a polite message asking for the account to be reinstated, which it looks like they've done.  Thanks Twitter!

ok, I've made a change that will hopefully fix the problem we say earlier.  Had to log everyone out a couple of times, but we should be good to go right now.  If for some reason you are getting an error when trying to access the site at the moment, try restarting your browser.

ya know the carnival game?  whack one mole and two more pop up!  seems to be happening that way with the bugs on Silk Road the past few days.  I think we've fixed the random logout bug, but now we are getting reports of some people being unable to access the site at all for brief periods, being presented only with an error message.  Well, we're aware of this one too and will get it fixed asap.  Hopefully another won't pop up when we do!

I'll take it as a good sign that the thread has turned into chem cat's roll report and not a stream of bug reports!

We've been having problems with some users being randomly logged out of Silk Road over the past couple of weeks.  We've worked up a patch that I hope will solve the problem and will be taking down the site momentarily.  If you experience any bugs after this update, please post them here asap.  Thanks!

Sorry about the outage there.  Can't go into details about what happened, but there wasn't an attack or anything like that.  Been working hard to get us back online and now I'm tired, but I'll be back soon.  Love you guys!
