Title: Help! Buyer reporting me, yet I didn't REALLY do anything wrong.
Post by: dayna on May 13, 2012, 01:27 am
a guy placed an order for 1 gram of cocaine.

the guy had impressive buyer stats.

I told him that I needed him to finalize early and that there were 3 options:

"cancel the order and send payment directly (advised)
continue and wait 2 or 3 days before it will allow you to finalize (stupid new feature)
cancel the order."

He told me:

"absolutely not, thats totally against SR policy and you have done nothing on here to warrant any sort of trust from anyone looking to purchase from you. your circumvention of SR guidelines is also as blatant as can be so ill refer you to buyer guidelines.

Things to avoid
Below is a short list of specific things you should avoid. It is by no means exhaustive, but taking any one of these actions could get your seller priviledges revoked:

Directing your customers to pay outside the escrow system or in currencies other than Bitcoin

please note that i have been on here for a long time as you will have seen from my buyer info so i will be reporting you to SR support."

Blah blah blah. Whatever. I gave him the opportunity to cancel the order. It seems a bit harsh to report a new seller over ONE GRAM of cocaine! If I get my seller privileges revoked, I have lost a fair bit of money that I spent on a seller account. So who is wrong in this? Me or him?

It is against SR policy to ask a buyer to FE.

"NOTICE: If you are a new vendor, you may not ask your customers to finalize their orders and release payment to you before you ship, a practice known as "finalizing early". If you do this, you will lose your selling priviledges. Once you have completed 35 successful transactions and have been a seller for at least one month, you may ask your customers to finalize early without reprocussion. In no way do we support finalizing early in general and this rule should not be construed as support for finalizing early for more established vendors."

I know. But it still seems unreasonable.

Yeah, you should of read the rules first, if he has such tremendous buying stats, why would you ask him to FE anyway?

Why do you people assume i didn't read the rules? I asked him to finalize early to minimize my own risk, and so I could get payment sooner.

If he has good stats and the purchase is over something as small as a gram.. and you don't want to sell in escrow.. S.R. is probably not the right place for you to vend.

The  default setting for this place is escrow. Them is the rules of the Road.

I would probably apologize to the buyer and contact Support and apologize and say you didn't fully grok the rules.

escrow protects the buyer AND the seller.
if you're a new vendor then asking people to FE straight away isn't a good start or way to build trust

So who is wrong in this? Me or him?

you.

Use a DCN so you can prove to SR admins that you actually shipped the item. Even with the old #1 seller on the SR, Tony76, he asked buyers to FE, and he split and never sent the last of his shipments on the 4/20 scale.

The escrow system isn't the BEST, but its damn close. Like someone above stated, you need 35 transactions before you can ask.

If you aren't going to be willing to send 1g of coke, then maybe start with smaller product.

i've told him that i would be more than willing to talk to SR if he continued with the deal legitimately this time. im not trying to get you run off SR, just protect where i can. i'm here as part of the community, not some goodie 2shoes trying to screw people over trying to make a buck.

Asking him to FE will have you seller privileges revoked if you have less than 35 transactions, and asking him to send right away will have them revoked at any point. I'd refrain from doing so.

I think you mean "her"
anyway, as long as I don't lose my seller acc, I will be fine. I think for now I will just sell digital products.

I fully agree with philter.  If the buyer had good stats, it's pretty fucked up you were only worried about yourself.  To be a good vendor here you have to assume some of the risk (if not all like some of the top vendors here) especially if you are new.  If you can't handle this, then SR is not a good fit for you.  We need less vendors like this here in my opinion.

dayna you are a whiny bitch who needs to grow the fuck up!  Seriously if you can't send a gram of fucking coke without a reputable buyer finalizing you need to quit now.  I honestly believe you read the rules but you must think your pussy smells like roses and you can do as you please and lure buyers into finalizing.  FUCK THAT follow the rules.  Nobody here has any reason to trust you and if they did then they must be chumps and deserve what comes.

Now you are going to sell digital goods instead of coke just to get your stats up so you can force buyers to finalize.  I find that shady as fuck and believe you may be trying to set up a scam.  Seriously if you cant buck up and send product in escrow as per the rules you need to GTFO!  I can say that I will never order from you after what I have read here in the forums and that is probably a bummer for you because I love my coke.

Grow a pair!

This site is based on escrow.  All of it's reputation and the good will of  certain outside goups, is based on the fact that it protects people from scammers.  People like the site, but then want to play by their own rules.  We're sick of getting ripped off.  The sad fact is that too many people are willing to go outside escrow and then when they get ripped off, want somebody to step in.  All new vendors--and buyers--should be forced to read the whole Tony76 thread, before being allowed to sell or buy product.

Every rip off that comes here says good things, they're always humble, kind, helpful...and they *always* find a way to get buyers outside of escrow.  We're tired of it.  There are plenty of other sites without our protections.  I suggest vendors that don't like our rules go elsewhere.

Hahaha. I can only laugh at your rage. I'm not even selling coke on here anymore. read the comments first, idiot.

Everyone else: I GET THE IDEA... Like I said, for now I'm only gonna sell digital products and I'm not so worried about using the escrow system for software/other digital products.

I was just trying to make a bit of side cash.  :'( My bad.  ::)

Yes that is what shes saying. This isn't F2F, both parties have some risk. If you can't take a risk on 1g you obviously don't have the capital to do it right.

You can still sell coke, you can sell anything you'd like.
Just stay in Escrow, you always have the option to cancel the order if the buyer's stats are horrible, if they are good, why would they scam you?

I hope nobody here trusts your dumb ass.

You try to sell coke but are afraid of the escrow system with a buyer with great stats.

You try to force finalize.  AGAINST RULES

Now you aren't selling coke, instead you are selling digi goods.

I bet as soon as you get your 35 transactions you are going to throw your coke up again.  You are going to begin forcing customers to finalize early for that coke.  They are going to pay you and you  then you may or may not ship the item.  I would never have enough trust to deal with you after only selling digital goods and being forced to finalize for some coke.

I can't say you are a scammer but I can say that there is no reason to trust you and I hope others see this the way I do.

If you can't do business in escrow like most of the other vendors then you are probably not cut out for this place.

I agree that FE should be banned. This would cut out the un-serious vendors and then we would have honerable vendors. As it is , we have to search for good people to buy from through the deep pools of shrk infested waters. Thanks Dayna for letting us know where you stand. I fe early for lottos with .20 btc for the godfather  and for lsd lottos for .20 btc but that's about it

i really wanted to play good guy and defend this guy even after his unacceptable behavior but the more i think about i the more angry i get. i asked for her to make another listing so i could attempt to order the legit way. never happened. everything about this vendor screams scammer and i really dislike having to be the one to bring it up. get rid of this FE bullshit unil DPR can implement system where when someone FE's with a vendor it goes into a bank account until everything is legitimate and then is released to vendors. so many smart people on this website and yet stilll motherfuckers like tony making off with at least $100,000. DPR doesn't care that much about our community to do something about this. im not ungrateful to him or the mods here but this shit is ridiculous.

There is no need to completely get rid of FE. sometimes it has its uses, like someone mentioned before they FE for things like lotteries.
Its really up to the buyers to choose not to FE. Buyers do have the power of the market and if people are smart enough to simply avoid any seller asking for FE then those sellers wont make any money. If they aren't making money they will either change or leave. simple.

I do not want to call anybody out and I do not have a dog in this fight but it does seem to be that she is saying that she will sell digi goods to build her stats up.
If you can't front 1g of coke to a reputable customer then you should not be selling drugs.
