Security / Someone is selling a lot of bitcoins!!!
« on: August 03, 2011, 05:51 pm »
The value of the btc has dropped considerably over the past couple days. I wonder if this has to do with the mybitcoin fiasco?  But for it to be around 8  bucks? that is low... How low can it get? It might be a  good time to be buying them, lol..

Just like when they say the bioavailibiliy of opana is 10 percent. Some its 5 some its 20. Im basing it off what I have read in the package inserts. And personal experience.. (also adding a shot of booze will also help, but dont do it, lol)

And no, its almost impossible to get above 100 percent. Although, I have seen studies when they brought thet new oxyconin out. They never named the substance, but said that they got 103  percent out of it, I wish someone knew what that product was, but im sure it wold be difficult to do. So, I guess its possible to get over 100 percent, but be happy with it, lol...

@cat and bloodbath~ I didn't realize that you could tell whether or not someone has read your PM.  How do you do this?

Okay so he is reading our messages and not responding and issuing refunds, I am presuming only to those that paid him through escrow?  That's just fucking wonderful.

Just click on your sent pm's and the ones that are still bold haven't been read.

I have to charge about 30 percent more here than f2f If I want to make the same amount of money. shipping costs, fees to turn btc into cash, bitcoin fluctuation. Plus, its a lot more work.

This is interesting. They are always trying to find ways to lower tolerance. One thing that helped me was methadone. A small dose of methadone mixed in with my regular pain killers basically stopped me from having to increase every  6 months or so. But, Im going to look into your little find..

I'm also speculating, but I bet they (or work with people) that mine bitcoins. You add all those new bitcoins to the pool, etc it would be very hard to say A came from B. Also, they state that they make dummy transactions to keep it almost 100 percent anonymous. That came from the guide, i think..

The tumbler is just one safety factor, dont rely on it. Always have your own "coinwashing" ways.

With so many people involved and the amount of money that's at stake, I'm sure a lot of people will keep a close eye on where the money moves to (if it does indeed move). I wouldn't say that it's gone for good, but it doesn't look good. Maybe there is a technical error somewhere on his side,? dunno, but it really surprises me that someone that helped start the bitcoin would do something  like this.. theres hope until someone says that its gone for sure...Im pulling for you guys that have money at stake...

There's not a lot any of us can do, except warn others. I know this person has done a few orders here and there, but have you ever done business with him? If not, thats a pretty big order to trust someone with. I wouldn't give up hope yet. I doubt anyone would risk their reputation for a few hundred bucks..

For priority, all you have to have is the 4.95 dollar stamp on it. You cant put the regular 4.95 stamp on a regular post office priority envelope, you have to purchase it from the teller and they will stamp it. You dont have to send it right then.

You can always buy your postage online and save some money. You would have to have an anonymous debit card, etc (I wouldn't do it)

Hey Chronic,

Good post.  Is it OK just to place an order without any extra messaging assuming all the details are known?  I like to keep it to a minimum but I read here about  people who are messaging sellers  a lot, even if they're not buying.  Is it rude just to order, I mean,  I don't see the point of small talk...  Also cancelling is one thing, the bitcoins in escrow are released, but why would a seller mark "in transit" and then not ship?  The bitcoins get locked in escrow for two weeks. Who would stand to benefit from needlessly holding someone else's bitcoins in escrow?

I would read the sellers product info/instructions. If I were to say in the product description to pm me first, then do so. Lets say that I put "will not accept po boxes" your order will probably be canceled if you gave me a po box. Then pm me and we  can talk about it. (that was just an example) Or if  you send me 1 btc on top of the order because you expect it to be overnighted. I would cancel. It would have to be pretty extreme for me to cancel unless there was an un forseen problem. But, I would never cancel an order that has been sitting there for a couple days. So far, the only reasons I have had to cancel is because the buyer didn't follow my instructions.

Just follow the instructions from the buyer and you shouldn't have any issues. I encourage buyers to ask me questions if they are unsure of anything.

I am 99 percent sure that LEO tried to contact me. He wanted to meet face to face or do a dead drop. He didnt trust bitcoins, He thought I lived in his area. Which I don't.  Sellers, keep your game face on at all times. I only responded by saying that i dont live there.

Its bad business to post something that you don't have in your possession. Even if I know that ill be getting X items on tuesday, for sure, I wont post them until they are in my hands. You never know what can go wrong. Maybe that's why his posting are down.
