As many of you know, I have been largely silent since the transition of SR1 to SR2. But smelling that our community was in a time of need, the silence has been broken.

Might I take this opportunity to add a few words to the mix:

This is a confusing time for our community. But it should not, in any way, be a time for separation.

Now is the time we need to pull together even stronger than ever before. Remember what we have built, what we have worked so hard to create, and remember that for most of us, Silk Road is about much more than just scoring drugs - if it wasn't, none of you would still be here, knowing that the Market had planned downtime over Christmas.

It makes me proud to see so many of you fighting peacefully, but relentlessly, for freedom.

Let's never let our community be disbanded.

Deeply in my heart I want to believe there's really much more behind Silkroad than only selling drugs and making money and while getting more and more bucks become the same greedy guys like the banksters, politicians and all the other idiots.
I really, really want to believe it's not only a dream - because for me in person, SR is much more than only a drug-market - it's a dream (i've dreamed for decades) came true!
So let's stand together as one and fight 'em back!!

I can only agree with some of the other posters here and acknowledge that all that really needs to be known about anyone in any position of control is that they will undertake their roles professionally and safely and keep the site as impenetrable as possible to the nosy parkers out there.
There is so much that can be learned from the DPR Allbrict mistakes and hopefully the knowledge gained  can be  used to not have them repeated.

Having "V"  and "Doctorclu" on the bridge will help keep things on course and keep the ideals alive that brought me to the SR1 in the first place, it is not all about "money"
there is much much more to the road.

The explanations of the recent psyops have revealed that the DPR2=StExo insinuations were deliberate misinformation and that StExo was too security conscious to have doxxed himself even if he had worked for DPR (which he reportedly did not). All the assertions I've read to the effect that they were the same person seem to be suppositions from people not in a position to know for certain, mostly on the basis of the aforementioned psyops.

And if people who had been working closely with me as employees had been arrested in a major international action then I'd be more than a little worried about my security, even if they knew nothing of my immediate personal details.
