There are both new people and old working on the dev team. The new DPR is actually some bloke named [REDACTED].

Exactly, and all underground details should be considered a bet.

I've stuck to this from the moment I started using Silk Road et al., and yes, I've lost a fair amount of money, and yes, it really pissed me off - but because I took into account that all money I was 'playing' with had the real possibility of walking off, it didn't have significant impact on my day-to-day life.

With that in mind, yes there are original SR staff working on this project.

yh will defiantly not be placing big orders till everything is sorted.

If they were the team from the last SR they obviously are trustworthy as they were running the website for 3years with no problems.

well, let's keep it in perspective here. the old SR did in fact get infiltrated by the feds, and subsequently got their server compromised a few months before actually getting seized. so it wasnt exactly "no problems" 

dont ever forget that! stay safe
