US newlyweds planning honeymoon to europe. Need ideas/tips and festival ideas

just married and planning a honeymoon to europe. we want to go all out and go to a good music festival (rave)  and have a good time in europe before comming back to start a family and stop partying. areas of interest: Germany,Netherlands,Ibiza.....or any other areas with a great Electronic music scene. Also want to do this on a good budget so we can stay longer. Any ideas / tips / festival names and locations would help.... going next year. Thanks peeps!

I could certainly make a few recommendations to you as far as where to go and what to see.  Unfortunately I cannot offer any advice on the electronic music scene in Europe.  One question I do have; are you sure that this is the place you want to ask this question?  If so, I would recommend that you do not mention any of your actual travel dates or specific travel plans.  I would not even mention your airline or hotel you will be staying in.

My personal advice also would be to maybe take this question to a public forum that is not associated with an open market, and one that is not currently being studied by members of Law Enforcement.

Ibiza is great, but expensive... the island next door however (Mallorca), is slightly less costly and still has quite a good scene. BCM, for example, is a venue that has been known to host many a prestigious DJ.

Having said that, with it being off-season, you might find that many destinations are ghost towns.

I think Ibiza will just be to expensive all round. Although Amsterdam is quite expensive too, it has some great EDM evens. My personal favourite is Sensation White. If you like electro/electro house then this is definitely one for you. I can think of a few more but when are you actually planning to go on your honeymoon? Is it fairly soon or in the future?

The Sonar Festival in Barcelona has a fantastic atmosphere and good weather is pretty much guaranteed. If you're after the sort of underground, wild, European clubbing that you see in American movies and enjoy house/techno then Berlin is the place to go. Is there a particular style of electronic music that you prefer?

let's remember that these are only forums, this is not a marketplace...
that being said, i think if you want some solid advice you will have to at least say whether it will be in summer fall or winter/spring, as festivals take place throughout the year, but mostly summer to fall, and some cities during winter i would recommend staying away from, while during during summer id say definitely go...

we do not know when we are doing yet....just sometime next year. we want to plan the dates around the "on" season.....when and where the most fun times happen.

i will not disclose exactly when im going obviously for anonymity reasons (but thanks for the reminder)

when/where is tomorrowland ? i heard thats a fairly big event.

i like house/electro house/dubstep/trap/ anything with lots of bass and friendly people

i was also thinking about looking into berlin.
