Chances are once the site is up and running im sure dpr will send them a little something for there efforts

I saw somewhere that the old dpr use to send $1000-$2000 per week to a few people who helped maintain the previous site.

For the amount of cash DPR was raking in, it wasn't enough. He should have doubled his salary.

Business is business though mate, just because McDonald's makes millions in profit each week dose not mean they pay there staff more.

It would have been nice of him to give the more dont get me wrong but $1000-$2000  per week just for moderating a forum is a fucking good wage, More server side admin stuff then yeah you got a point he should have given more to anyone who helped him there.

I have to agree with Energo, DPR could have at least paid him a little more. After all he always said he wasn't in it for the money and his business was making millions upon millions every month


Libertas would be a brilliant assest for any black market to have, the guy was always fair on the old forum and seemed like he was in it for the same reason as DPR.

Yeah, a moderator is a moderator for everyone on the board regardless of what country people are from

if this forum is being run the same as the last, then yes they most definitely get paid. and I agree that 1-2k/w is not even close to enough considering how much work the moderators do, but all the same its better than working at mcds, ai?

The admins are on £1,000-2,000 a week ( well they were wen Ross had this place booming) the Mods were on £500 a week again when Ross was at the helm, I doubt it will be as much now unless it's already firing.

I Pm'd DPR about this very issue a while ago because I could use some work.

He told me that he would pay, but only in meth.  Apparently a teenth a day. 

So in short,  expect when the site comes back to have very edgy tweeked out mods, constantly accusing you of putting ideas in their heads with your mind control postings.

At first i lost all faith in DPR over this, but the more I think about it, the more it could possibly be one of those really visionary entrepreneurial decisions, like steve jobs and the ipad, and elon musk and his rockets.

Obviously they have to launder the money, so it's going to get taxed.


Plus, they are paid in BTC. Coin value fluctuates, the whole process of getting coins to legitimate income costs too, so in actual fact they get no where near 100K.

On top of that they are moderators to the biggest online black market, they will do jail time ( a lot of it ) if caught. Why should DPR get 80Mill in two years and they get pennies in comparison when in actual fact the moderators are the people who keep the community in check the majority of the time.
