Was the old DPR a pedophile who was covering his tracks?

One of the leading theories in regards to how the FBI located the server, is that SR, or someone involved at a deep level with SR was actually involved with freedom hosting, and when freedom hosting was shut down, that person then sang and told LE where the SR servers were located.

It has also been speculated that Ross Ulbricht was just an SR admin that was set up to LOOK like DPR, but who wasn't actually the genuine article.

Could it be possible that the real DPR, knowing that the snitch at freedom hosting was likely to rat him out (possibly due to DPR's involvement in the pedophilia/CP business), that DPR set up Ross to look like DPR, and then came back now to set up the new silk road?

I'm just speculating but I think there may be something to this.

There only every was one DPR. There was no known link between him and FH. I know how easy it is to get swept up in conspiracy theories, but we all need to remember to keep our heads in the real world.

Having read most of dprs post history now, im pretty convinced that he made a number of (honest) opsec mistakes. He was learning as he went, and got help from a lot of ofther folks. Its sadly clear that he did not use or know much about pgp until about half way into SR-1.0's existance.

Just wondering if this sub-forum should really be here? I know that yes, it is great for us all to be kept up to date with the latest news regarding Ross but after reading this thread about DPR being involved in CP or whatever, I just think the trolls will gather here and it will be hard to separate fact from fiction and sift through all the bullshit, conspiracy theories...
