Title: Everyone please remember...
Post by: PumpkinYeti on January 10, 2012, 04:37 am
That ANY body can make a forum post about someone else. I'm counting three threads right now that I believe could very possibly be trolls and people accept their word at face value, with less than 10 posts.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the person claiming Digitalink scammed them, the person claiming Warweed scammed them, and the person saying that had $1000 stolen were ALL in fact not only trolls, but the same person (possibly KingJoey).

I'm just very surprised someone with no message count is able to so quickly damage a sellers reputation which the seller spent much more time to build... or be able to get a handout so easily...

No wonder scams go on so much. PEOPLE ARE THAT DAMN GUILLIBLE

Well said. We're dealing in the black market here, people. We need to be more suspicious of what others say, especially when it can affect how and with whom we do business here.

I agree. Some of the people here unfortunately cannot be trusted, so we have to be cautious.

Spider senses up. Hope Digital comes back and sorts out the drama. For now I am happy knowing I have my selected people I deal with.

Black market sure, but honor amongst thieves/illicit suppliers should always be upheld

Trust nobody and never risk anything you can't afford to just write off, easier said than done though :))

Yes, that's the general gist of it. Welcome to the forums, BTW. I see this was your first post.

Every vendor has some bad reviews. There are some people who are just DICKS. There are also some great people on here. I have had some very good vibes from a lot of my customers. Most top 25 vendors have a couple bad reviews (a lot of which are likely bullshit, or rating bombs imo), and are stuck with 99s. I know I have 3, and that is the only thing keeping me from a 100 and I HATE IT. I recently worked back to a 100, and someone comes along and leaves me a 1/5 without even opening a resolution or sending a message. I imagine other vendors feel the same way... I take ratings very personally, and read every single one.

It sucks to get a bad rating...all you can do is try to learn from it.

Learn not to do business with assholes  :P
