I have recently gone off of anti-depressants, and would love to try MXE to see how it works for depression purposes. I am not a junior member like you requested in your other thread, but I would love to test this out, and I will give you positive feedback and report back on my experience!

My wife left me and took my kids away last week, and I work from home so I get little to no human interaction at all now that my family has left is that enough reason? I would like not to be depressed about it for a while.

I've had a visit from the black dog back in April, serious fucking business. I don't want to get reliant on SSRI's so just try to battle through it, lifestyle/ diet/ sleep changes don't touch it.
After getting back from a club early one morning in July, we had a few little lines of K and a bit of a smoke. The next day, I felt in good spirits. The next day the same. Cure is a strong word, but the effects were remarkable my depression seemed to dissolve for the rest of summer.
Giving out free samples to sufferers is an awesome idea, well done for doing this. :D

This is probably one of my first posts here. I've made several purchases on SR and been good about posting feedback on SR. I recently broke up with a girl that I care deeply about, but other than that life isn't all that bad for me. I have always wanted to try K or MXE but its not available readily near me. There are probably some others on SR more deserving than me, but I'd really be appreciative of the chance to sample some and I'd gladly review my first time experience.

I've been dealing with legitimate depression lately, and it would be great to see if this is effective. Seems promising.

I suffer from an anxiety condition for the last 18 years I'm even on disability for this illness. And that cause me serious depression because it effects every aspect of my life. Right now I'm on the up. Looking very hard for more work, closer to family, going out on dates. But the depression comes a lot of not finding one and living at home is VERY depressing. But I'm pushing myself everyday.
It would be nice to try something new like this to help with the depression. Any tool I can use to be a more productive person. So if you got anymore for test. I would very much appreciate it. And give a detailed review. Thank you.

I've had a rather rough couple of days, first a run in with the police (not sr related, phew), then a 3 car accident with all cars totalled and a trip to the emergency room, and to top it all off, I got a 200 dollar parking ticket :( (accident was in a friends car).
Needless to say, I've PM'd you.

Hey Rapid, I miss chattin wif you guys on SILC.
Anyway, I've been weaning myself off my Emsam because it's causing my anxiety to go through the roof so much so that it's not a very effective anti-depressant. I've been prescribed Vistaril for my anxiety, and although it has some minor benefits, it does little for me when I really need it.
Lately I've just been using marijuana as an anti-anxiety, but that neither hurts nor helps my depression. I'd like to see if MXE will work for me so that daily functioning and social interaction aren't so difficult. I can even pay you a small amount of bitcoins, but I'm in quite a schtick financially speaking so it's really all I have. :/
Please PM me if we can work something out. I really appreciate the awesome generosity.

I'll have to keep an eye out for round #4 I know it would be the perfect time for a pick me up. Working in retail, after a stressful holiday season, that is when they start to cut hours which means smaller paychecks. Hopefully I'll have enough buyer and forum rep by then to qualify for a sample!

This a great thread. I don't need any freebies for now cuz I am depression free (knock on wood) for the tome being. I love the fact that SR members help each other out like this and I have been meaning to jump into the Congo but always too lazy to sign up until I saw this thread.
Last fall toyotaman on SR sent me a couple of free dihydrocodeine and told me to try it with low dose of amphetamine for short term depression. I ordered some speed and gave it a try. I snorted about 20 mg dried paste and swallowed the dihydro like a normal pill. Fucking awesome! It wont get you "high" like oxy or percs but combined with adderall or any amphetamines and presto I fill 100% better like night and day.

so i looked through the posts but i don't think i've seen this addressed yet.. mxe how it's commonly available in the HCl salt form, no? I was under the impression that this form can't be smoked effectively because of the similar vaporization temperture to the temperature at which it decomposes. Normally you'd have to turn an HCl salt of a substance into the freebase form before it can be smoked properly. Is this not the case w/ MXE? Also, how can i tell if the mxe one has is the HCl vs freebase form (or does it that not matter)? I am curious by the anti-depressant like claims, but want it to be investigated properly. Please advise!

You'd have to inquire individual manufacturers. I don't think it's especially common since MXE is still very new. I'm not expert though (just a fan).

I don't recommend smoking the freebase. I tried it briefly (chasin the dragon) and I didn't feel anything. Snorting it is really the way to go. I find it's anti-depressant effects very strong, but nobody really knows what long-term effects it has on humans so it's a risky fix for that IMO.

I'm not here for any MXE, I've got plenty of my own! But I'd just like to thank RapidImprovement, this is a great cause and MXE has done wonders for me. Pretty fun stuff, too.
Edit: Saw this on the front page of rumor mill, didn't even realize how old this thread is. Well, he said he was doing round 4 in mid-january.

i have depression, bipolar, anxiety, adhd, and insomnia. i'm on meds for all of it but it would be nice to go without the meds for a while. hopefully i qualify for round 4.

From what i heard this thread advocates smoking it with weed (unless i misread something).. hence why i asked in the first place..
i tried snorting mxe but i didn't get much more than a mild effect.. i found that when you ingest (an equal amount) orally, the effects are far more pronounced.. i find that weird so i no longer snort it (but i haven't considerd smoking it until i saw this thread).. figure it would be best to make sure it's smokable first (unless my initial impression about recommendation of smoking was wrong)

Would love to try some to cure my depression. It's been about a year rut of paralytic depression and overwhelming sadness. SSRIs haven't done the trick.

I have had some serious depression the past year or so and have been thinking about finding a serious solution to it.
Now do people ACTUALLY find legitimate long-term relief from depression by using MXE once? Does it really have the profound of an effect? Or is this just a fun way of saying get fucked up for a night and forget about your issues?
I have heard of some psychedelics like Ibogaine having very long lasting and serious cures for people with addictions, so I wouldn't consider it too far-fetched.
Just wondering if doing one line of MXE has actually given anyone long last relief of depression, because that could quite honestly be a godsend right now.

well i think there's actually like a chemical reason for antidepressant effects, which supposedly can last days after dosing
for a while i was taking <5mg every morning to see if it helped, it was subtle and i won't say much, but i do think it made a positive change, more than any ssri for sure
don't expect it to be a miracle antidepressant, but it can help. i don't think it's a cure, but the morning after a medium+ trip? it can provide an extremely profound refreshing mental reboot clear head fresh start feeling. that mental reboot sensation was the reason i initially fell in love with dxm. although i feel like you appreciate it less and less the longer/more frequently you do it. it's always best when it's been a good while since the last trip, i've been feeling pretty bad, just not having a good week, bad mood, and i really want the next day to be different? motherfucking mxe. get out of the head for a while, start to come down, fall asleep, get some sleep, wake up a new man. it can honestly be pretty amazing. there have been multiple occasions where other (completely unaware) people have noticed and commented on my improved mood the day after a trip
i recommend taking a benadryl or two with the mxe, some batches can be pretty stimulating and disrupt sleep, making it harder to appreciate that sense of mental clarity, i initially didn't like mxe until i started doing that, but it wasn't long before it became my drug of choice (i also think a benadryl or two shifts the tone of the trip a little bit and is more enjoyable, but that's me)
also: i vape mxe in a lightbulb just fine, (don't use a pipe unless you want it to get really gross and uncleanable in record time) you won't get up to super intense experiences vaping it, or at least, you really have to be fucking trying. but it's my preferred lower dose roa
nasal being my preferred method for intense trips, although i've only recently started trying plugging, it has potential to be sure
also, to the person that commented about not knowing its long-term effects, while that's absolutely true, it's also true that mxe was designed with being more potent than ketamine in mind, meaning fewer metabolites, implying less risk of the long-term bladder damage that ketamine can cause

I'd put it somewhere in-between those two extremes. Yes, it is a great escape if things have gone horribly wrong and you just want to get fucked up for the night. But after a relatively low dose (20-30mg) the antidepressant effect stayed with me for about a week, maybe two.

30-50 mg insufflated is my recommended medicinal dose. Start lower. I do about 30 mg every other day then go on a week tolerance break after a month. *That few days or a week off MXE makes all the difference in the next month!* I'm very out of meds right now but I will be getting more soon!
