Title: vlad1m1r - scammer?
Post by: ohbetty on August 27, 2012, 05:18 am

OK,.. so I tried vlad1m1r's cash in the post for BTC service for the first time last week, and despite being very dubious about it I read a lot of good reviews and heard a lot of praise so decided to go for it.

a week later and nothing... he hasn't logged into his SR account for over 6 days now.

in his thread in the product offers forum, several people started to post that they also hadn't received anything from him.

he could of course just be having some problems in real life and would get round to sorting this out when he returns.

BUT...

strangely his review thread in the product offers forum has disappeared, and from his forum profile you can see he has logged in today at around 2:30am local time - seems fishy that both those things happened at a similar time.

i really hope he isn't a scammer, and is simply having difficulties in real life, and will be back soon to deal with all of his now very pissed off customers.  but in reality, this looks very suspicious.  i also hope that if he did turn scammer, then the address he provided to people really is completely anonymous, otherwise the person living there is likely to be at risk of an angry mob from SR demanding their money back... and if it is just the address of a guy that knows vlad, I doubt he'll keep vlad's address / location a secret for long.

i'll give him another day to sort this out, now he has been on to one of his accounts, after which he will definitely be a scammer.

Vlad isn't the type to just scam and bail but then again we said that about Tony but Tony was actually selling a lot so I don't know, I'm just assuming it's the weekend and sometimes vendors don't go on weekends, only time will tell.

Doesn't this already tell you everything you need to know? He hasn't been around to send you the bitcoins in the first place. If he never shows back up, we won't even know if he went scammer or not because he is at greater risk than the drug-vendors. He gives out an address, after all.

Up till I read this, I was prepared to give Vlad the benefit of the doubt, and hoped he'd be back to explain his problems and put things right.

I doubt that's going to happen now......

I'm in the same boat as many others, having placed an order a few days before vlad disappeared. Getting more and more pessimistic about my order being honoured.

Has anyone tried contacting him via his Tormail?

I personally don't think he has turned scammer for the simple reason that he's left a physical address (presumably of a friends) which could easily be connected to him. He'd surely be better off making a tidy profit by continuing his service rather than a one-off scam, with an address out in the open.

Don't use these vendors, get your own coins and be worry free!
