Title: 2 silk road accounts
Post by: spitndiknips on July 16, 2012, 07:45 pm
I realized i wasn't as secure as I might have been depositing from mtgox to silk road. I was thinking of setting up another silkroad account and sending my btc over to that one. Thoughts?

Yes, that would mix the coins using SR's mixer. If you insist on using an exchange I would recommend you use Bitcoinfog though.

blockchain.info has set up their own mix with a 0% taint guarantee and its fees are lower than any other mix i've seen. they are incentivizing usage of the mix by paying people to put in fresh coins when the mix is running low. i'm looking forward to playing around with it :D

I see the fee listed at 1.5%. bitcoin fog is a random 1-3%. If it truly is random it will work out to the same 1.5% on average and bitcoinfog seems to have more security features and I'd imagine a much greater number of users and transactions. Any other reason you'd use blockchain.info?
