Title: Question on how SR figures current BTC price

This may already be explained somewhere else but i'm not finding it.  How does SR get its current BTC price.  For example at the moment of this post Weighted Avg:$6.90885 while SR quotes 1BTC at 6.85.

Any insight?

My understanding is that you're right in thinking the prices are pinned to MtGox's average rates but I don't think it updates instantaneously- the spot rate varies every few minutes after all. Perhaps one of our admins can confirm?
