Hey all, wondering whats up with all the suspicion around here, can't a guy just run a business without being accosted for my sales and somewhat resembling another vendors profile? I mean when i signed up on the SR i looked at a few vendors profiles and saw his and liked it, i tried to not copy it exactly word for word but whatever? What does that have to do with the legitimacy of my business? I have had a few orders so far and with the buy one get one free sale we are offering, PLUS free shipping, we aren't worried about establishing a trustworthy name, plus we aren't requiring FE so I don't know why you guys are scared of some Great weed with some even better deals;)Hope to see you guys soon;)

You both signed up and paid for your vendor accounts on the same day; both your listings and profile information are very similar (you both have sales that are the same); and you (specifically) have feedback from just 2 transactions, neither of which have posted on the forums to prove their legitimacy.
Suspicion is what keeps us alive and safe here on SR. Don't worry, we'll apologize if our suspicions are unfounded, but until then, we are allowed to discuss such possibilities.

The names also follow the same name pattern MarleysMainMan and MaryJanesEx. Same naming convention on the product, one refers to it as pot, the other as cannabis. That and the word Trainwreck or Afghan Kush to a pothead is as good as a wink to a blind whore. Of course we know its cannabis, or pot in Mary's case. Until I see someone legit post on here confirming otherwise I won't order. Thats how this works so your business growth will hit a point and then just boom once others see legit people ordering and not getting arrested.
Nothing personal or anything but risk minimization is my game, and that stays the same.
LOL @ JahBUDS comin in here advertising. Thats fucking funny dude.
tl;dr : if you wait your biz will grow but it is sketchy as fuck with the circumstances surrounding your arrival.

If you guys think we're a scammer fine, just please don't fuck our business off by posting in our REVIEW thread about this speculation shit! It cost us 150usd to open this up and thats alot of money when you're starting up, and now since some clown copied our shit we're getting fucked all over the place even though we don't require FE or anything shady like that. And as for you Jahbuds, thats pretty shady to advertise on someone elses profile while accusing them of being a scammer, guess this is how the world works now huh? Hope you guys realize how you are fucking off some legit guys for NO REASON WHATSOEVER BESIDES SPECULATION!! Thanks everyone, thanks again for making us feel welcome. If you are truly legit, no need to get belig over this. Tell those 5 orders to post on here and see whats up.
Besides your last post, you seem like a nice person. But this is obviously an illegal business and people try to
minimize risk. One way of doing that is to truly trust that person on the other end, which is one of SR's strong points as it does add some protection. If an SR OG posts and says you are legit, your business will boom so fcking fast your head will spin.
Surely, you cannot think we are out of line by wanting to make sure you are legit?

I'm still a newbie, but for what it is worth, I believe I was one of MJ's very first, if not the very first, customers. I was also a little spooked about the 2 very similar accounts that had similar awesome deals that went up at around the same time. Some of the strain names are also very unfamiliar to me as well, but there are a lot of boutique growers now with crazy sounding shit so I risked it. I got the 4g of "chronic" for the price of 2g. It was delivered very quickly, just a couple of days. It wasn't the best packaging that I have ever seen, but it was def. adequate and there was no odor, which was a good thing because the weed was dank as hell when I got it out. I didn't weigh it, but eyeballing it everything seemed fine. It was flattened in the packaging, but that sort of thing doesn't bother me as I grind and smoke anyway. I have not smoked any yet, but the smell is unbelievable. I can update if anyone wants a trip report. So, assuming this weed makes me high when I smoke it, I would say that this vendor is legit. Price was good, got here fast, packaged ok, amount looked correct, and smells really good.

Just made a purchase for 1/4 ounce of his Sweet Cheese. After realizing that the account is almost an exact mirror of that Marley fella, I have to say, i'm pretty sketched out and I truly hope that this isn't a setup by LE. EVERY aspect of the accounts mirror each other; shipping options, prices (even shipping prices are -exactly- the same) I'll certainly update on whether or not this vendor is legitimate but hey.. you never know. I should also add that I ordered Express, so these buds should be here very soon. (if they aren't here tomorrow, i'm going to be pretty bummed out as i've received overnight orders with success in the past)

Bad first impression. Package has been in transit for two days to no avail ( express shipping !) The fact that Marleysmainman and Maryjanesex have the SAME EXACT shipping options is really unnerving

They have a lot of the same everything.
VERY SIMILAR accounts.. but either way.. they have positive feedback, so give them some time.
A LOT of vendors don't like shipping on the weekend because the parcel will occupy a sort facility for a day..(who knows what could happen.)
So, keep it safe and be patient. I am sure they will come through.

For everyone who checks out our review thread sorry we haven't updated it in a few days we ran into some problems with good olde mother nature. There has been a lot of rain in our area over the past few days so we experienced some flooding at our place of work. It put a hault on our shipping of people's orders and we apologize for the inconvenience. We have resolved most issues such as lolcopters late shipment and processing of his order, but if he vouches we handled it the best way we could and if he's happy then it works out for everyone. Everything is up and running smoothly now and everyone's orders will be packaged and ready to be shipped monday morning 7/23 so no worries. As for our shipping methods they do look identical to Marleys but what ever there's only so many shipping options here in the US so of course their gonna look alike . And yes please don't track your order threw tor it raises some red flags and in this line of business red flags are no good for anyone. Weekends we do not ship because Sunday the post offices are closed and that does us and you the clientele no good if the order is just sitting in the post office facility. Also as of today 7/22 we no longer have our buy one get one sale but we hope that doesn't steer anyone away from future business, we are trying our best to maintain a professional manner so everyone here on the SR is happy with our product and services and in the long run it will build a great business relationship. If anyone has any questions or concerns please let us know so we can address them.

Can't speak for MaryJanesEx, but The Grand Wizard has boldly ordered two grams of "Charlie Sheen" from MarleysMainMan. His "Cat Piss" has received some positive feedback, but I wanted to be the first one on the block to smoke Charlie Sheen. I'll let you know whether a few hits filled me with tiger blood and left me WINNING with several porn goddesses -- or if the high was overrated and I forgot about it fifteen minutes later. (That was my response to my last joint of "Ashton Kuchner").
Not sure what to make of these two accounts registering so closely to each other. I'm not sure what you would get out of purchasing two vendor accounts rather than one, but it's early in the morning for me and I'm still on my first cup of coffee. And frankly, so long as the purchase goes well, I don't care who is behind either or both accounts. I'm here to buy herb, not play private detective.

Towards LLL, I have came clean from day one we are a new vendor trying to establish a legit clientele here on the SR where everybody is happy. We don't require finalization and give out DCN's if purchased and so far knock on wood no ones packages have been seized. So if this doesn't help put this scammer accusations away then I really don't know what else to do. No one is asking you to purchase from us but if you did you would see there is no scamming going on. I understand the SR is a community where everybody looks out for each other, and trust me I respect that but just because our profile was created 8 min before or after another account doesn't mean we should be faulted for that. Accounts are created everyday by multiple people. We will keep processing orders, shipping them out and communicating on here and the SR until our name is cleared. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns we will gladly answer them.

As far as giving out DCN's... that's a big NO NO. Don't EVER EVER do that... ONLY keep them in case someone tries to scam you in a Resolution.

Wow. Lot's of skepticism up in here. The man said he doesn't require FE and I for one trust the escrow system of SR.... So I am not worried. Before I ordered though I contacted MJE and asked since I was getting an ounce if I could get it in a flat rate priority box instead of the bubble mailer on his profile. He said no problems at all :) not only that, he is the only seller I've seen that let's you mix and match.... so far I'm sold.
He's got 10 transactions with all positive feedback. Great communication from seller (very short turnaround on messages). I'm not stressed
When my bud arrives i'll update everybody on the quality/shipping.

Towards KaoticS I tracked your order and it said it was delivered. Sorry we did use dryer sheets for your order, we are new here and we are still figuring out a legit shipping method. Pepper boxes we do not use. I should've went into more detail with you about how we shipped it sorry for the inconvenience man. If people would like their orders dryer sheet free we have no problem helping them out with that. I just updated our profile so for future customers just message us how you want your order to go out for example uncompressed, compressed, etc. Towards darkslayer96 the DCN I gave you was valid and its says its on route to your location so you should be expecting your order in the next few days. IT HAS TO BE STEALTH and DISCREET.
1 - People don't generally like compression.
2 - Dogs are trained to smell deterrents.. like dryer sheets, scented candles, coffee, etc, etc...
3 - WE LOVE.

So I rec'd my order today, just as promised..I have to admit the communication was a little slow, but I was responded to each time I asked a question.
I did have a dryer sheet in my order which I would not like to see again. But it was still stealth and discreet. I think without the dryer sheet the order would of been perfect.
The buds were in tact and not broken apart, which I am def happy about. Im sure the vendor in this case will correct the info about the dryer sheets and I wll do business again..

7 day total wait here. packaging was reasonably stealth, and completely sound. no dryer sheets or anything like that. came from what i'll just refer to as an "off" state.
it's the sweet cheese.
they were tiny compressed popcorn nuggets. stuff is real dense so it didn't look like much.
the smell is pretty pungent.
sweet cheese was chose because:
"Type: Indica/Sativa hybrid leaning heavily towards the sativa side"\
Effects: Racey, heart pounding sativa that will keep you up and running for hours. Mostly felt in face and head, light on the body until you’ve smoke too much."
i don't think this is the case, i'd says this is 50/50 at best, if not Indica dominant. there is not head feeling at all, and there is no heart racing. There is a noticeable body buzz, which is Indica trait. there are no tracers coming out the red led light on my tv. (seeing tracers is an excellent indicator you're smoking something sativa heavy.)
it's a decent buzz on the quality side, but this is nothing super special about it in respects to other things obtained on the Road.
definitely not Medical grade.
overall, it wasn't a bad value for the price, but just doesn't stand out among other vendors that have been tried.
on a different note: i've read this thread from front to back. I too am concerned about all those similarities discovered between the two accounts, and don't think a reasonable explanation has been given.

Towards Boba Fett I'm sorry you were displeased with our product but if you would've messaged us on the SR we would've tried and help you out to compensate your order. I'm an honest man so I'm not going to sugar coat our product, it's dank and it gets the job done thats for dam sure but all honesty it's does not take the number 1 spot for greatest weed out here on the SR. We charge a decent price for decent weed and that's all there is too it. Our weed is dense because we compress it for safety precautions, if any one were to want their order uncompressed all they have to do is ask. Everyone has their own opinion and like I said I'm sorry Boba Fett you were not satisfied with our product. I'm not even going to comment on the other account accusations because I'm sick and tired of trying to defend myself. Towards all customers so far and new customers thank you for helping us out here on the SR we are new and I want to thank you for conducting business with us.

easy there, i never said i wasn't satisfied, i acknowledged it was quality, and the effect was decent. there is nothing to compensate for.
no problem with the compressed, just giving an accurate description of what was received. some of the best i've had on SR
was compressed and looked small like that. (Lexi Sadies Trainwreck)
Boba Fett has experienced many SR cannabis vendors, and felt using his experiences as a benchmark was good for the community. Boba Fett has a high tolerance, and has written many reviews on his hunt for high level stuff.
I left you a 5/5 and you deserved it. Please don't be offended by my "weed snob" critique.
As for the other thing... felt it necessary to go on record and be honest how I felt after reading it all. I'll leave it at that.

8/21/2012- Hey guys just to keep everyone updated, we've recently had a rise in orders and transactions causing us to run out of all our products and supplies so we had to do an emergency restocking of everything. So if you have not received your order or sample and you placed your order on or before 8/21 expect to be compensated with extra goodness in the package. You have my word you will receive your order just not as soon as you planned due to unseen circumstances. I purchased 1/2 oz of sweet cheese on 8/18. it is 8/26 and i have seen nothing and recieved no response from maryjanesex when requesting info on status of order. it has been marked in transit for about a week now. not going to reserve judgement on vendor yet, but so far lack of communication has made me very skeptical.

Sweet Cheese: Definitely the headier one of the 2, crystals everywhere. Great tasting.
Afghan Kush: More moist, def night time smoke. Found a spider mite in one of the buds..... Just the one though.
Besides all of that I still gave him a 5/5. The bud was fantastic (minus the one spider mite).

Towards iforgotmynuts I messaged you back on SR and gave you your DCN but I do want to apologize for the late response. Towards KaoticS I do appreciate the 5/5 and the compliments on the weed, I'm really baffled on how you got a spider mite, so I'm sorry for that. As for the dryer sheets we only shipped with them when we first started off here on the SR but from talking to the community and reading the forums we no longer ship orders out with dryer sheets. We still compress all orders unless requested otherwise. As for the priority box I told my shipping guy to ship it out as you requested but if your saying he didn't ship it out the way you wanted I have no problem accommodating you for his error. If you want to message me on the SR we can talk about it there.

I have a zip that was apparently shipped on thursday/friday and I already got mail sent coast to coast that was shipped saturday? I have a zip "on the way" but from what I've read I doubt it shipped and now vendor is missing in action?? fucking pissed cause I'm sure its going to take another 7-9 days to get my money out of escrow and also its going to really fuck up my refund rate!! Will not do business with this vendor and their counter account if they even are seen again!!

Wow reading the last page or so of posts is crazy, I've ordered a few times from mjx and never had any of the delay or packaging problems you guys did, the buds were a bit compressed though but still smoked the same.
I logged on tonight to fish through their page looking for what I wanted to order next (last time I ordered from them was 2-3 weeks ago) and I thought it was strange that their last several feedback posts were not good, and then saw they hadn't been on in over 5 days but still thought oh well until I came on here and found this thread.
Now I'm anxious as it's so hard to find a reliable weed person on here that I can stick with. The last few I tried before mjx were great for a few orders then just disappeared or varying things would change about them. :(

I canceled my order after MJE's hiatus. At first I attributed 4 days of no logging in or reading messages to the US holiday, but now it seems unrelated. Just glad I got out before things got awry.

You're right, I guess I should clarify what I meant as I'm sure there are plenty of long term reliable vendors on here. I have a hard time finding a vendor that:
1. Isn't selling extremely high quality weed for an equally high price, I prefer quantity over quality when it comes to weed (to a certain extent anyway), and would just like to find some regular or slightly above regular weed that I can buy a quarter from for the price that 3.5 grams of the "super quality" stuff is. Most of the listings I see are for some foo-foo high class ultra strain. Which is great for the every now and then when I have money to burn but mostly I just want to get through my day with reg.
2. Sells in quantities that I need, there seems to be several vendors that won't ship less than an oz. Most of the time I just want a good ol 7g.
3. Is located in my country, as I keep a general rule of not wanting to do the international thing.
4. Sticks around.
But I haven't had the time to really browse the listings lately, as my life is so ridiculously busy right now. I'm sure I'll find another great one soon as I know they're out there.

Oh no man it wasn't meant to come off like that lol... it was more of an insult toward the vendor as being a retard to think they could even get to that level with this shotty ass dealing! Well not sure anyone notice but they both logged on yesterday after 6 days of MIA and still no response to my message in which I said please just cancel my order since it was not shipped obviously... I was polite and said it would just save them the 1/5 rating and also the second I can I am going resolution for a 100% refund as I asked for the DCN I paid for 8 days ago and will just ask the SR staff to cancel the order to save my stats... shit ass vendor!

Thank god I was still in escrow, haven't heard from them in 8 days, canceled my order after seeing everyone else is having issues.
I feel like a dark horse. First time trading cash to bitcoins, a few days later the service i used was hacked and hundreds of thousands were stolen (bitfloor), a day after my first transaction, the high rated seller (MaryJanesEx) vanishes.
I split my money among two high rated vendors now, if they vanish, I'm just going to quit entirely and assume i'm just a curse on this entire community.

I'm just curious, who did you end up going with? I've tried about 25 over 50+ orders and know the good from the bad. I never did fall for the "Mary Twins" as I've been watching them from day 1, here and on SR. I had a string of bad luck where an order went missing, got a 50% refund, got bunk wax, and waited 10 days on subpar bud. Before and since, every order was nearly flawless.

I'm in a similar boat, but my lady is the inverse for quality/quantity. She only wants top shelf pure/dominant sativas so we don't have to smoke as much. Which I'm cool with. It's tough to find all that in a vendor. There's at least a dozen vendors I've fanned after having amazing orders with them and never get another chance. For your needs, I'd recommend...
KnickKnack, solid guy with cheap but decent mexibuds and known for his THC pills
20DollarBILL, 4 grams of classic 'high-school' mids at $20 and $5 shipping, can't ask for much better than that!
DrWhite, has/had great regular but he got scammed by Vlad1m1r or whatever so he might not be able to continue vending
NorCalKing, yep, NCK usually has top shelf at a high price, but he seems to keep pulling more Titan's Haze out of his ass at $37 or so an eighth. Get it ASAP if you see it
NotChecking also seems to be doing really well with his popcorn mids
Then there's this really new.... Legalize It character with some tempting listings. $33 for a 7g 'average quality' or $22 for 3.5.... Might have to test the waters on this guy.

From my own observations, I think it's just a timing coincidence and MrYellow has nothing to do with the MaryTwins. I did order a couple times with MrYellow around the 4/20 sale (double on 1 and 2g purchases) but the really slow turnaround time stopped me from ordering ever again, also the ambiguity with it coming from the US or Canada. MrYellow always used DVD cases with his smaller amounts. The MaryTwins were stupidly using dryer sheets and less protection from what I read. Sucks that lots of people have gotten owned, but I'm glad to see all 3 of them are gone... just gotta get rid of Anonymart and the cannabis listings will be a lot more pleasant to wade through...
The important part is what have we learned, people? You know, about finalizing early? Should we, the buyers, do it unconditionally for any vendor that demands it of every buyer?

Since you entered escrow when he marked it shipped (dick move), yes it will raise your refund rate. Also, once you enter Resolution (I've only seen it once) there will be some time you have wait before you'll get your coins back, probably looking at 1-3 days after resolving.

That's messed up. Looks like Mr. YellowGanja'sMarley'sMainEx needs some organizational skills.
I can't confirm that Mary'sEx is the same, but with all the vendor pages worded the same and with all of them disappearing at the same time and with all the posts similar, it's almost obvious.

I mean mryellow is a reputable vendor and makes people FE so yes he could potentially be running off with thousands but the other two accounts are so new that everyone is still in escrow??? they quit responding after that for about a week, until i placed an order..
then that order wasn't even looked into for about another 6 days and by that time i was begging SR to cancel my order.
