Title: some confusion from a noob with GPG4USB
Post by: dynastyxeram on July 06, 2012, 04:53 pm
So, I literally just discovered TOR and this lovely place last night and have been more than intrigued by it all. I'm trying to make sure I understand how to use GPG4USB somewhat decently before contacting a seller. That said, I have a fairly basic question. Can I create a public key in GPG4USB, or just import them from elsewhere? I'm sure whatever answers I receive will bring more questions, but I need to start somewhere! Thanks in advance!!!

You can start by reading the stickied thread http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=131.0

To generate a key in gpg4usb, Keys/Key Management/Key/Generate New.

Select your key, right click, "Append selected key to the text".

Your public key will appear in the editor.

Yes you can, I've actually put together a little tutorial for my customers on how to use GPG4USB, take a gander at :

Thank you all very much for the responses, I'll start pouring through the tutorials tonight and see if I can make sense of them. Thank you again for pointing me in the right direction all!
