Title: Newbie looking for Moneygram to BTC
Post by: st1gmata on June 24, 2012, 09:55 pm
Hello everyone  :D
I'm very new over here was looking for a way to get started with BTC's. I really liked Moneygram since you do not need an ID or anything and it can be completely anonymous.
In order to get started and see how things roll at the beginning I'd like to invest just a $100 worth of BTC but could not find a vendor that will accept anything lower then $300.
would much appreciate an advice for a complete newbie

MG may be anonymous (and I'm not sure of that) on the buyer's end but it sure isn't on the receiver's end. They have to present an ID to cash it. Unless they have a secret way to do so that doesn't require it, but I doubt it.

A much better way is by moneypak to BTC. There are several vendors for that, and I would recommend Sugar Mama.

BitInstant does this exact method, and I personally use it all the time. Just swing by a CVS and drop off the cash and then you get a message in your email asking what address you want the BTC sent to

Does BitInstant only support US, Russia and Brazil? These are the only countries I can choose...

If you're based elsewhere I'd be happy to sell you BTC for cash in the mail. Please see my link at the bottom of this message for more details.

Thanks,
