Title: New Aussie Vendor Questions
Post by: aussievendor on June 13, 2012, 05:51 am
This is a throw away account  ;)

I am not new to the road or the forums and am comfortable enough security wise as a buyer.

Looking at domestic prices of bush weed, indoor, mdma and benzo's is laughable!

Hoping to set up in a couple months and not rush things and be half arsed!

Now the questions

1)  I have ordered an android tablet from overseas  that will be dedicated to solely vending on SR, can anyone link me to tutroials to setting these up safely or know how to?

2)  Can these tablets be wiped of the Android OS and just run linux and have PGP/TOR, True Crypt & wifi on it?

3)  Fingerprints I'm confident in being able to cover up, but DNA concerns me!  If you were charged with a serious crime and had to provide a DNA sample to the police but you spent X amount of months on bail only to have the charges dropped at committal, would this DNA still have been processed and added to the Australian database?

Signing off, probably forever under this account

Peace all

Bump for the tor/sr/linux on android tablet bit. Lets also throw in a possible boot from sd card, or usb slot (if they have them)

Hi guys,

If you're going to use an Android Tablet I'd suggest you use one running Android 3.3 OS or later as they support full device encryption.

By all means install and run OrBot and Orweb to an encrypted SD card for extra security.

If you don't trust the AndroidOS I'd suggest you install CyanogenMod instead which has more features and is more privacy-centric:

I have actually considered selling Android tablets with these preinstalled, would that be something that would interest you? It seems so simple to set up I thought no one would be interested!

Have sent you a PM, let me know if you still want to be involved with the testing stage. If all works out this could be a nice little earner as we say in England.

All the best,
