You'll be able to go into resolution once the time is up.  Once that happens, if there's any coin still in his account and he never responds, you'll probably be able to get a full refund.  However, if he's already emptied his account, you're out of luck.  Hopefully it arrives, though!

Did you do your due diligence on the vendor? If you did, then where are all the other buyers that are in your same boat? If not, then that's an important lesson in the school of hard knocks. You gotta learn the rules of the game before you play if you don't want to lose. Life's not fair.

You may find JPinkman's words harsh but they are fair BigJT.

Did the seller in question have a review thread here in the forums? How long had they been on SR?

There's also no harm in asking on the forums and seeing who has had dealings with them before. I imagine this first order was for a large amount of BTC? Personally I think vendors should start small offering low cost/free samples and work up to more expensive goods but that's just my opinion.

Also, while I'm here I couldn't help but noticing you're in the UK - I offer a service selling Bitcoins to people via cash in the mail for people in the UK/EU so if you do decide to place another order in future, I'd be happy to help you.

All the best,

V.

I knew he was a new vendor but i thoght i would give him a try,I have started a thread on him to ask about and there was another guy who luckily managed to cancel when he saw he pulled his listings.Look to be honest it's not that much of a big deal to me,i will just stick to my regular vendors from now on.It's just annoyed me that he took my order knowing he was gonna pack it in.Cheers for the words of advice guys........
