Greetings fellow SR users.
I was wondering how you guys remember this link? for security reasons.
Because it takes me a min or so to gain access to the website. I was wondering if there is any faster way.
my current method:
Open Tor. Search; Silk Road Link. Click on the "How and why to get to silkroad" website. Scroll down. Click on the "New SR website URL"
I am quite new to SR. But I will surely keep active on SR for a long time.
Cheers,
~C

Nothing easier buddy it's:
silkroad (easy enough to remember)
vb5 (I say this with a German accent vee bee five!) :-D
piz3r (think "pizza!")
.onion (..with onions)
Silk Road Vee bee five pizza with onions!
OK.. you're right, just Google it! :-D

The link is always posted on Wikipedia if you ever want to make sure, I'm sure most of us just have it memorized by now though.

Thanks Gary,
The other advantage to remembering this is that you don't have to memorise the SR forums address - there's a link to do this once you've logged in from the main site.
Incidentally a user messaged me earlier today to ask if I thought the site's address would make a good password. The short answer would be No :-)

Uhhh, I just bookmarked it. Too laze to look it up every time. Do I have to be afraid something will happen???
-
Ah, thanks.
I guess I have to be more active to memorize it.
I just hope the site wont get blocked or something else I am in big trouble :p.
cheers,

Hi Clofarmer,
One of the wonderful things about Tor hidden services is that an ISP or Government can't unilaterally block individual Tor sites - however it is possible to block Tor traffic altogether which I think they attempt do in China - it's referred to as the Chinese problem but the good people at the Tor Project are working on it!

Hehe, I was referring to the website I use to gain the address of SR.
Wait what!? I dont see how they could block a Tor hidden website. Unless you dont allow Tor to be used.. I guess?
Well. I am not Chinese anyway.

Are you all serious?
Write it down in your phone's notes, google it or just favorite it in your browser.

Are you serious?
Not the best advice I've heard - the phone and favorite option are quite simply ridiculous.
-
Or....OR. You could buy a pet parrot and teach him the URL and everytime you need to hit up the ol' road feed mr. beaky a snack and BAM you're good to go. 8)

You're just paranoid as I noticed several times.
Yes, really dangerous to write it down on the phone or favorite it.
If you're so paranoid you will have your whole system encrypted.

Just throwing it out there for some fun;
You can learn a number of ways to write codes, digits, pretty much anything, in weird obscure ways that only you'll know how to read.. look it up ;)
