Post by: energyimport on May 21, 2012, 05:23 pm
Hello,

My friend just made a deposit into his mt.gox account it hasnt posted yet still waiting on the depsoit to go through. One he does that he has to convert the usd to bitcoins....but once he does that how does he direct the coins to his silk rod account. He knows there is a link/code to give Mt.gox but he doesnt know where to find the page you give them that information.

Will it show up once he converts the dollars to bitcoin?

Thanks for n e advice

Your SR account has an address you can send BTC to which can be seen looking at your profile info on SR.  However people have me all worried about the safety of going from Gox to SR so maybe use a tumbling service or move them to a couple different wallets first.

Buy your coins, send them to an eWallet then to a tubling service then flip through 2-3 more wallets changing the address before and after you have transferred your funds and then on to SR. Done. :)

I had figured out how to do it after just a lil more research but now im frking cuz i went direct from mt. to SR, If I do this only once and use a tumbling service from now on do you think that will be ok. Like what is the risk with this one time transaction with a new user? Will Mt.gox block the transaction? It was for about 400 bucks. Not a lot of cash but still not a little.

No, do not every use the Mt Gox or any other exchanges website via TOR. Use VPN.
