As you can tell from my post count I am new.
Could anyone advise me of the best way to get bitcoins into my silk road account, is there a thread already? I would obviously wish to hide my identity whilst doing so
Any help would be appreciated and I do have my tin hat on ready for abuse if I am asking something dumb

Hi Mickey,
The website Intersango is good for us Brits as you can buy BTC buy bank account transfer although this doesn't hide your identity fully.
I also offer a service selling BTC in exchange for cash in the mail. Feel free to PM me for more details.

Very cool.
Currently located in the USA but its nice to know there are good cash for quick bitcoin vendors out there.
