Maybe an email based PGP app would work but are there any that work on android? I was going to get two windows phones to be able to do it but maybe someone can fill me in Cheers. There is an Android app called Text Secure. It was recommended by Jacob Appelbaum, one of the Tor developers, during a seminar that he gave in NYC. Apparently it's available from the Android Marketplace. GuruP.S. I do not have any mobile phone, let alone an Android, so I cannot comment personally on this app. That said, I would trust Appelbaum's recommendation.I see you're one step ahead of me as ever Guru! Yes Text Secure although not open source has proven most promising - of course you won't have nearly the same level of anonymity as you would with e-mail so as Guru says why not just have a PAYG Android phone and access PGP encrypted messages via Tormail?V.
