I wouldn't buy a new hard drive just because you use Windows 7 to access Silk Road - just encrypt it with Truecrypt (very easy to use) and you can keep all your files in place. You should still use a separate OS for accessing SR in future though.V.Quote from: gustono on April 18, 2012, 03:24 pmSo I have just accepted the fact that I really shouldn't be using windows 7 whilst on SR - I will be buying a new hard drive. What data can I swap over from my old HDD to my new one without making the act of getting a new hard drive (removing and eliminating unencrypted harmful data against me) pointless? Are things like games, movies, music, pictures etc good to swap over? I assume that all things to do with the internet should definitely not be swapped over, not that I would want to anyway. Basically yeah what am I alright to swap over to save me re-downloading everything?
