Hi all, can you ask for multiple items at once from a vendor (as in do they have an easy way to set that up on the site)? I have messaged asking for a custom order of several things from one person but don't know if that is what custom order means and whether this is too much of a pain in the ass/not worth their time to do them? I haven't heard back and they are a really big vendor which is why I was worried that they are ignoring me because it's a stupid request :-\

I would not fault a vendor for not wanting to do custom orders. I DO custom orders when and if time permits.
Custom orders are just another level of customer service that some vendors may not be capable of doing based on order volume or lack of real customer service experience.
If the vendor in question is not responding but is reading the messages he may just be one of those vendors that just doesn't have the time... that doesn't excuse him for not telling you 'no' or something at all but it does happen from time to time...
From a vendor standpoint the easier you make it for us the more likely it will happen. Try it like this:
I would like a custom order for the following:
1: Item, amount (list advertised price)
2: Item, amount (list advertised price)
3: Item, amount (list advertised price)
Shipping
If you sent that to me I would be so impressed I would knock that listing out ASAP and have you a custom order page in your inbox in less than 3 minutes...
Help US, help YOU... ;-)

Thanks for the reply. He did reply to message a moment ago (it had only been about 6 hours since I sent it so wasn't bad on his part at, I just really want it for the weekend hence the rushing into my previous post as I didn't want to risk him ignoring a stupid request :)), and he said I should order them separately which is fine. I did outline it as you said to in fact but it was quite a small order and understandably not worth his time.
