Hoping for good news for everyone who has coins stuck in limbo, it can be frustrating when something of yours is stuck and you have no control.

It seems my order cannot be cancelled by admin at this time!

So I have no option but to FE ... I might get lucky and be supplied if not I lose my BTC either way!

That SUCKS!

You can refuse to FE unless the seller stays in escrow but if you don't then your coins will be stuck until you can cancel the order.

I am going to say this is a hoax until further notice.

My advice is to message the vendor and explain to them you would feel more comfortable staying in the escrow system Silkroad provides so you are both covered. If they refuse ask for a reason for not wanting to use escrow and then go from there.

Well, it's your call. Silkroad advise users never to FE before the order is shipped, as it cuts out all protection you have from scams. If you don't feel comfortable with going ahead maybe you can cancel the deal or just let the vendor know that the first transaction went well so why am I required to FE this time?

What I understood so far was that to send someone an encrypted message you use their public PGP key to encrypt and so only him/her can decrypt it. And for someone to send you an encrypted message they have to use your PGP public key so only you can decrypt it.

Correct.

I don't understand the signing though

Signing a message is where for example, say I am a well known vendor who wants to post a public announcement for everyone to read on the forum. To ensure everyone knows it is the vendor and not someone who has hacked their account they can sign the message with PGP.

For example:

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hello, I have came back from a break and ready to start selling again!

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----
Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (MingW32)

-----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Now if I was a customer of the vendor and I wanted to make sure it was still the same person I go to my PGP client and use their Public Key that I already have saved and paste the PGP signed message into my client and click verify and it will tell me if that vendor did actually say those words.

My btc have been stuck in escrow for 6 days now. I made an order from a vendor who just never went back online. I been wanting to cancel, i messaged support and the vendor. Still nothing has happen and they don't tell me when the cancel button will be added on. Been waiting too long, the good thing is my btc are worth way more now. But i feel like i ain't ever getting back those coins.

I'm confident you will get your coins back, I am afraid you will just have to hang tight for a little bit longer.

You could say Silkroad is still in "Beta Stages" at the moment, it's still being developed thus the feedback system isn't in place just yet.

But you can go here,

Rumor Mill - http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?board=15.0

This forum has threads with reviews of various vendors, if you don't see the vendor you are thinking of ordering from then you can make a thread and see if anyone has any experiences with them!

Yep, it's a public thread. Pretty much everyone helps new people get into PGP and can also run a few tests!
