@Tang
youre exactly right my friend
did i fuck up and buy the wrong prepaid?

Well, you can only deposit Bitcoin on here. You will need to purchase some Bitcoin first, you can do that from the following sites.

*CLEARNET WARNING*

www.CoinBase.com (USA Only / Require Personal Information / Bank Transfers)
www.LocalBitcoins.com (Wide range of payment methods)
www.BitStamp.net (Bank Transfers)

I'm not really sure how you can use a VISA to purchase Bitcoin, maybe if you're located in the USA you can use the card to buy a MoneyPak card from a store and then purchase Bitcoin from LocalBitcoins?

@ChemCat,

I think they have one of those prepaid Visa cards and they are trying to add that to their Silk Road account. I don't think they have any Bitcoin yet.

Yes, you can just go ahead and use LocalBitcoins normally with your information and then just tumble the coins with a service like BitcoinFog and you will be fine.

CoinBase is a popular site for users to obtain Bitcoin in the USA and they require quite a large amount of personal information and they just pass their coins though a tumbler and their good to go.

The last week's been pretty stressful, but Thanksgiving was nice. I'm glad that I have family to spend it with. I'm also getting some psychs pretty soon, so I have that to look forward to.

Glad you enjoyed Thanksgiving with your family!

I did something with a group of people this evening and the feedback has been very good. We seem to have given many people a good time. Tomorrow we'll try to do the same twice more, after which I should be experiencing mescaline HCL for the first time with a friend.

Have fun!, remeber to stay safe also.

I never seem to have any problems accessing Silk Road, I can't say for BMR as I have never really been over there.

DPR announced that they was on hold and should be back in a week a according to the thread he posted.

You need a vendor account before you actively advertise what you're selling.

Hey, nice to see you're using PGP to keep yourself secure. Best place to put your PGP Public Key is on your profile page. This is where most people look to get your key if they want to send you a encrypted message.

With the current Bitcoin prices being around $1000 I find that minimum amount to be way too high in my opinion.

Hi KKSixx,

Great you're deciding to use PGP, first you will need a PGP client to create your PGP Public Key.

The link is for "PGP4USB" it's the most simple PGP client to use,

Is there any reason not to buy coins from a place like coinbase if I tumble them afterwards? I don't need very much, and it's the easiest.

Sure, you can buy Bitcoin from CoinBase, if you tumble them you have nothing to worry about. If you're in the USA then CoinBase is the most easiest option once you're verified.

i just dont know why anyone would keep a ton of bitcoins in an anonymous black market. Over past few months have seen 1 get busted and 2 pull scams - everyone losing thousands. keep only what you need and the rest in an offsite wallet, common sense 101.

Keeping coins offline is so simple these days, there isn't really a excuse not to.

LocalBitcoins in my opinion is still the best place to go, I haven't had any experience with the others you listed.
