Silk Road Discussion / Re: SR VENDOR ASKS VENDOR STATUS ON NEW SR

If you just created a new PGP key then that won't work, you need to use the one used over at the old Silk Road to verify.

Hey guys,

Just in the process of transferring some funds to my SR wallet for the first time since it rebooted, and I see now there are five possible Bitcoin addresses to forward on the money to. I guess this is for security reasons. Just wanting to confirm that I won't have any issues sending the funds to any of those five addresses?

Thanks in advance. :)

Yes, you can send to any of the five addresses listed.

Nothing to complain about today, feeling good. I'm starting to feel a little lazy so might have to start going to the gym again, we will see how long that lasts.
I do this all the time...I usually start back up when I run out of weed, never ending cycle.

Haha, I must have rejoined the gym around 6-7 times now.

*CLEARNET WARNING*

www.LocalBitcoins.com

Vendors list their price and payment method and LocalBitcoins escrows the transaction, you can buy with cash deposits and many other methods.

Ok Great! And just to be sure I did everything right security wise, these were my steps..
1. transfer coins bought from coinbase with real bank and phone info into blockchain account on google chrome.
2. go on tor and go to blockchain and temporally enable javascript and script permissions for that page
3. Share send on tor my bitcoins from blockchain into SR address
Am I safe from the feds? :O

You'll be fine, but in future you should use BitcoinFog which is a tumbler.

http://fogcore5n3ov3tui.onion (BitcoinFog)

Remember to use PGP when sending vendors your address and other sensitive information!

Ok So it will do this automatically I'm Assuming? It jumped from 0 to 1 so far

Yes, I estimate your coins should be in your account in 15/20 minutes!

I downloaded gpg4usb (for my windows comp) and i keep presssing generate new key and it says new key generated but the box is empty and nothing is there..
I've made new keys before, so i dont think  am doing anythng wrong..

When you downloaded it, did you extract the files?
good call, i was opening the program without unzipping it first.
+1 to you if  could..

No problem, remember to create your key with "4096 Key Size" to keep it secure!

Backopy seems genuine and will no doubt allow you to withdraw before any shut down happens, if they was going to do anything malicious they wouldn't have announced a possible shut down people this would alert people to withdraw funds anyway. You should be fine.

Just got the deposit through. That was fast---too fast. Is this the FBI that I'm communicating with?  ???

It's because Silk Road requires 3 confirmations by the Bitcoin network, when it receives 3 confirmations it's credited into your account.

Yeah I get that, I asked because blockchain has the shared send and shared coin features that would be an extra buffer of privacy.

BitcoinFog will suffice.
