Security / Re: "No Data" trying to decrypt a message in PGP4USB
« on: December 10, 2013, 09:59:14 pm »
Anyone else have this error? Apparently it was relatively common in previous versions of PGP4USB.

Anyone else get it or have ideas about it?

Perhaps someone else can encrypt me a message to decrypt? I've done more encryption that decryption!

My key is in my profile.

MERCI!!

Encrypted a test message for you,

Silk Road Discussion / Re: An update on the situation
« on: December 10, 2013, 09:16:19 pm »
I apologize brother but facts were few and far between even for me. Pretty soon after I lost connectivity to the road and the boards all together. We know this it was a ddos attack it was done by hackers unknown atm who requested 5,000 dollars a very low ransom which make its even more strange. It was well organized, planned  and when bob wouldn't pay the ransom soon after it began on a mod or admin email inside the server.

Bob has offered 5000 dollars reward leading to information leading to the arrest and prosecution of these hackers.

I haven't been on all day mate where has this information been posted?

I think they're trolling, $5000 ransom and $5000 reward. :P

You need 50 posts in "Newbie Discussion" before you can post in the main forum, it's to prevent spam.

:(

I don't quite understand what you're asking but I will try answer regardless, you need 50 posts to be enable you to post in the main forum and currently the marketplace is down due to the site being under attack and it should be back very soon.

Thanks, Tang, I got the 50 newbie thing but, of course, consider this to be a ridiculous policy...

I've been trying to do an SR transaction since last night. I almost got in for a minute, then down again. So, this DDos attack seems to be working, and it's getting pretty frustrating. I think the Pirate Guy has posted some update, but I haven't been able to find the latest...

There isn't much you can do until the site is back online, it shouldn't be too long. In the mean time have a look around the forum and make sure you read up on how to keep yourself secure when doing a transaction. For example PGP when giving a vendor a shipping address, stay safe.

There you have it. Maybe u can help me tand. I was a jr member in Sr1 forum. Can I get any of that back. Or is it start agsin as I am now

Everyone starts with a fresh account.

So i placed an order early last week, and it remained as 'order' status for a few days. i messaged the vendor inquiring about this and he told me he was out and in the process of restocking (fair enough). i then asked if i could cancel the order- he messaged back saying he was restocking the next day (friday) and would send it out then, and marked my order as 'shipped'. i know it hasn't been that long but UK domestic post should be 1-2 days, so i was just wondering if there's any action i can take. obviously im a bit limited now with the site down but just so i know for when it comes back. i didn't FE so the coin is still in escrow- can support get this back for me? also worried as i've read about an autofinalize feature- i might just keep on getting told 'oh il send it out tomorrow' until it gets to this point then the coin is gone. or if i succesfully get in touch with the vendor (which i tried to do right before 'the attack') and he hasnt sent it yet, can he still cancel it even though he's marked it as shipped? i really just want my coin back and find someone else when the sites back up tbh, its getting a bit silly now.

sorry if these questions are obvious im relatively new to disputes as all my orders in the past have been succesful!

thanks

Keep in mind, the run up to Christmas does delay the postal service so that could be holding up your package. But if still want to contact support then use the following link,

http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion/users/support/message

The market is down at the moment so you'll have to wait till it's back up, also there may be a slight delay with a reply from the support department due to a backlog of support tickets.

You could also try hitting the "Check for new deposits" button as I heard from another user in a similar thread it seems to correct your balance.

Customer Support / Re: ~ $250 LOSS - Might be Deposit System issue
« on: December 10, 2013, 04:03:28 am »
Hi! This also happened to me!
this is the adress i made a deposit to: 1DZgzZEhYo6QudY1uQGY2WSX7yAc1f1UT4
the transaction was confirmed in blockchain but i couldn't get ahold of them (was trying to make a order, but didn't have enough btc).
then I see that i has been two withdrawals to here: 1D222w3C42FWcGwjQnbshjyYq3XYMdnQ3T  and 115SU6hwe5hRJBVPj85HxHQRnyW2ezFzMv

what is this? have I lost my money? this never happened before and I also have some btc left on my account, so it doesn't make any sense, why not withdraw all my btc's?

If you think that something has gone wrong with your account balance then contact support,

http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion/users/support/message

It might be a day or two until you receive a reply due to the site being under attack and also there will be quite hefty backlogs to deal with.

"Well be down for the holidays [but we'll be shit between now and then so good luck. tuff shit. good day to you]"

Basically I can't do shit. I deposited... then poof. Then tried to log back in... Tried a dozen times... Finally.... Checked out.... *wham*... now it's like the site is dead...

Depends, I believe the minimum amount you can put though BitcoinFog is 0.3 BTC so if you have less than that then you should use Blockchain's shared send feature,
