HI

I've just registered and want to start making posts to forums but no reply buttons or quick reply is showing ???

Can obviously post this but can't reply to any topics ??

Hi florenceandthemachine,

You need 50 posts to enable you to post in the main forum, for now you can only post in the "Newbie Discussion" forum. It's to prevent people spamming the main forum, it shouldn't take you too long!

Customer Support / Re: Got this message, but I'm not doing any DDoS attacks

Request Flagged

The Captain is hard at work implementing DDoS prevention measures. Your request looks very similar to a request a current DDoS attack is sending.

Try accessing the marketplace directly at silkroad6ownowfk.onion - if that does not work, try again in thirty minutes.

We will prevail.

Many people are receiving this message, nothing to worry about.

At this point I think I want my coin back so I can make a purchase before the shutdown.

What have I missed, is there some kinda shutdown coming? For how long??

As far as Snowstorm, he's a relatively new vendor right? Your probably safer sticking with someone tried n true .

Silk Road is scheduled to close for Christmas, here is a thread with more information from DPR,

Product Requests / Re: Items NOT offered on SR.
« on: December 13, 2013, 11:51:27 pm »
I know everyone has their panties up in a bunch when it comes to guns. Like = murder or something? That same logic would probably imply that Drug = rapists. I think it's important we keep an open mind when it comes to guns. Some countries make it very very difficult for people to get guns. a simple marijuana charge prevents me from getting a gun. Do bad people what to get their hand on black market guns? Ya, probably. It would make sense to assume to. Having said that, do bad people want to get there hands on black market drugs? Abso-friggen-lutley! Bad people exist, and thats something we just have to accept!

Now, after saying that, i do respect SR choice to not allow firearm sales on their site. That is a choice that they are entitled to make, being that it is their site and they can do whatever the hell they want! They offer a much needed service, and it would be a waste of time, and just plain ignorant to slam them for not catering to individual needs and wants. Plainly said, "If you don't like it, then you can just get out!"

But! I want to start a thread here for things that aren't offered on SR but people still want! Like, well, for example, guns! I would hope that this doesn't spin off in to weird dark tangents like human trafficking or murder-for-hire services, but if it does, i mean.... well..... it can't hurt to be aware of these services, right? I mean, sure, today you don't need anyone killed, but who knows what tomorrow might bring! Even so, lets try to keep it moral, shall we?

So for any product requests for items that CAN'T be found on the road, lets post here! I'll start! does anyone know where to get GUNS?! lol.

Silk Road did allow the sales of firearms at one point, back before the site was seized there was a separate market called "The Armory" which was owned by Silk Road that allowed the sales of firearms. It ended up closing because it cost more to run the site than it actually earned.

Shipping / Re: Priority mail domestic time
« on: December 13, 2013, 11:30:06 pm »
Anybody experiencing delays with priority mail...may be due to the holiday season but I just wanted to know what the avg time priority mail is taking everybody.

I've seen multiple threads regarding delays with shipping times, nothing to worry about. I estimate it will add on 1-3 days depending on where you're located.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Money back from sheep
« on: December 13, 2013, 11:14:37 pm »
Is it possible to get my money back from sheep? I lost a decent amount; I still have all the information from my account.

No, unless the former owner(s) decide to return users funds there is nothing you can do.

1555
I ordered some weed from the vendor "bamann" and he promptly marked it as shipped, but it's been two weeks and the vendor hasn't even logged in in 6 days. I think it's safe to say something is going on. He also has absolutely NO mention in the forums, so I'm beginning to think I got scammed and my money is just sitting in escrow. Is there any way I can get it back? I really need that money to buy from someone else, and I have no faith that this vendor will ever log back in again.

If you're experiencing a problem with a certain transaction you'll need to contact market support,

Okay well then how can a Newly silkroad come up with the same market same name and same operators unless its not the FBI that has shut them down but more like the operators of silkroad have closed the previous site and ran off with all Bitcoins money and drugs themself thats the only logical explanation...

The previous owner of Silk Road was arrested,

« on: December 13, 2013, 07:51:52 pm »
I'm able to log in and would like to withdraw my coins, just not sure whether to do so or not.. Surely the attacks must take down the wallet system aswell ?

The whole market is up and down at the moment, hopefully it should stabilize soon!

Actually it looks like my problem is extra weird. Every time I generate a new key, it does not create a private key along with it at all! I know this isn't just me now.

Are you sure you extracted the files when you downloaded PGP4USB?
