Newbie Discussion / Re: Would you be a drug mule?
« on: December 15, 2013, 09:02:06 pm »
If you want to watch a good show about drug smuggling then I recommend "Banged Up Abroad" it's very interesting. It shows a reenactment of someones drug smuggling story told by the smugglers themselves.

From the FAQ,

Quote
Requesting Vendor Verification:-

Sarge and inigo are taking care of all former vendor account verifications, they can be contacted here:

Inigo (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?action=profile;u=2323)
Sarge (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?action=profile;u=208)

There is a specific process that needs to be followed to enable your verification, detailed instructions can be found at this link:

http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=271.msg3002#msg3002

It appears Silk Road vendor verification is closed.

Okay, I recently has my computer wiped and had to re DL gpg4win, now every time i try to import a key from a .txt file it says "no keys found" or when I try to copy-n-paste directly into the key manager it reads the key but does not import it. What gives? I'm on windows 7, and have previously had no issue. I uninstalled and DL a couple of times thinking it may have just been a faulty DL. Is my public key even working? Because I cannot encrypt anything at the moment because I can't import any damn keys. I have not yet received anything to try to decrypt, so who knows if that's working either.

ok, so now, after selecting the seller's tick box (obtained from his/her PGPcode) I put my address in, press encrypt and paste the contents into the address box, thus encrypting my address and preventing any plod from seeing it??  And the seller will definitely be able to see it as you have?

Yes, if you correctly encrypt it to the vendors PGP key then only they can decrypt it.

Successfully managed to decrypt your PGP message.

Ok done that, should I say what it says on here or not......

Sure, it's fine.

Next step write a test message in the editor, for our test just write "Test 123" and then on the right hand side you will see "TangGPG" tick the box then click "Encrypt" and then text in the editor will change into a PGP message.

Paste the PGP message into here and I will decrypt it to tell you if you did everything correct.

Right done that, what next?

In the file click "Start_Windows" and the client will come up, then copy and paste the public key. Use mine for the example then I can test to see if you did it correct.

ok thanks, is that p2pusb free? and have you got a link so I can download it. thank you so much for this

Yes, it's free. Remember to extract the file once you downloaded it,

PGP4USB is for Linux and Windows, if you're using Mac then let me know and I will link you to a Mac friendly program.

he has provided a code is it not a matter of copying and pasting that into a message?

No, you'll need a PGP client to encrypt a message to his public key.

Hi can anyone tell me how to use a sellers pgp key to encrypt my message......layman's terms only please....I'm pretty stupid

Do you have a PGP client? First you'll need to download a program such as "PGP4USB".
