Go to the "Official Spare Coins Thread" and see if someone can loan you there, it is quite a large amount to ask for.

Just use this online pgp encryption tool.

http://www.igolder.com/pgp/encryption/

iGolder uses BCPG C# v1.6.1.0 which is considered obsolete and unsafe,

Quote
Version: BCPG C# v1.6.1.0

This version of PGP generates by default a PGP key of 1024-bits, with NO encryption sub-key. Again, these keys are unsafe/obsolete.

Also the fact you're using a website to encrypt highly sensitive information should make you not even consider using it.

Product Requests / Re: Any vendor around $200-215 ounces?
« on: December 17, 2013, 02:01:14 am »
Why is there only 1 guy on here with these prices AFTER fees and SHIPPING? Damn I miss SR 1.0 :(

When vendor registration is in full swing there will be more competition and prices should lower a little due to more competition.

« on: December 17, 2013, 01:57:05 am »
I just created a account to check for you, I seem to have the same issue. No deposit addresses are showing, there is normally 5 to choose from. It must have been disabled, you'll have to check back later.

Customer Support / Re: How do I become a seller?
« on: December 17, 2013, 01:51:20 am »
You'll need a vendor account. At the moment vendor registration is closed, it was open for a short period today for 25 people but those spots got filled. It should reopen again soon, when you register to become a vendor you'll need to pay a $500 refundable bond which you get back after a certain amount of sales.

Any updates on vendor registration will be posted here, - http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=4658.0

While you're waiting you should research PGP encryption and how to ship packages safely etc.

I have had exactly the same problem. The advice in the FAQ does not work.

If nothing in the FAQ solves your problem just send market support a message and they will be able to help you out,

Customer Support / Re: How do I delete my messages?
« on: December 17, 2013, 01:17:04 am »
Sorry to ask this here. I have taken some time to read but I can't find a thread with this answer in it.
So please educate me?
How do I delete messages in my SR buyers account?
TIA
Regards
S

There isn't a delete option for market messages at this moment in time, it is something that is being worked on and it hopefully will be implemented soon. Remember to use PGP for all sensitive information!

Newbie Discussion / Re: what about Litecoin LTC support?
« on: December 17, 2013, 01:14:47 am »
I saw a thread about bitcoin prices "being crazy today" and I wanted to reply "Silk Road should implement LTC instead, it's more stable and it's good to diversify" but I guess I can't post there cause my account is brand new.
How many posts required until I can post normally? -searches for a F.A.Q.-

You need 50 posts to post outside of the "Newbie Discussion" forum.

i seriously need help with this pgp shit, when i send a pm over this forum does it automatically encrypt it via pgp or what?

No, you'll need to download a PGP client. If you're on a Windows or Linux machine then I recommended PGP4USB, it's very simple to use. If you need any assistance I will happily guide you though getting yourself set up with PGP.

From the FAQ,

Quote
Delays with bitcoin deposits and withdrawals:-

This issue can happen from time to time, deposits and/or withdrawals become delayed and when this happens the community can become highly anxious.

The first thing you need to do before anything else is check the transaction via the block chain at this address:

[Clearnet Warning]     https://blockchain.info/

If the transaction has received at least 6 confirmations and it has been over 8 hours since you initiated it then you should contact Silk Road admin support via the market site at this link:

http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion/users/support/message

Various people tonight have experienced 1-2 hour delays in getting their deposits credited to their account, nothing to worry about as you will get your deposit but it may take a while. If it gets past 8 hours then you can contact market support with the link provided
