Newbie Discussion / Re: Help Coinbase rejecting my buying bitcoins
« on: December 26, 2013, 01:21:56 pm »
CoinBase have been known to cancel orders when it doesn't benefit them, for example if you buy at $700 then the price shoots up to $950 they cancel the order because they are losing out on $250. You'll just have to wait for their support to get back to you.

There isn't a option to delete your account, you'll have to wait for a staff member to do it for you. You only have 3 posts tho, what type of error did you make?

I would upgrade your PGP key!

Quote
Version: BCPG C# v1.6.1.0

This version of PGP generates by default a PGP key of 1024-bits, with NO encryption sub-key. Again, these keys are unsafe/obsolete.

Customer Support / Re: Becoming a new vendor.
« on: December 25, 2013, 12:47:11 pm »
Hi all,

I received last week a PM from Sarge (yes, with the blue bars ;)) with all the details for the vendor payment.

Who do I need to contact with the details when the payment is made and is the BTC address correct (Please send PM)?

Thanks :)

Sarge has stepped down from his staff position so you'll have to wait until the 28th when Silk Road is back online and see if vendor registration is open.

I am an honest seller
be in SR (pepinamil), sheep (mishka) and tormarket (mishka)
I lose a lot of money
I'll be in SR2
I now work with FE
if not get asked once again to send or return 70% of your money
I hope to have confidence

I have the best 80% purity cocaine
I have the best price 55 dollars per gram

mail:  mishka1@safe-mail.net

peace and love

A vendor account requires you to pay a $500 refundable bond, but as I said previously you'll have to wait until the 28th.

LOL I was buying it until I read the last few sentences.  Thanks for the laugh
really sorry there too much shitty spellling to be a real news article there was a misspell earlier on in the artcicle i should know i am expert at shitty spelling

Speaking of spelling, did anyone else notice how these forums no longer have the spell checker working like it was not too long ago?
y spell check is working im just fucking lazy and stoned

Mine is no longer underlining my incorrectly spelled words in red.  Maybe it has to do with the new Tor browser and my settings.  I dunno.

Right click a world and check the "Check Spelling" option and then go to languages and under it and check "English United States" then it should work again.

Newbie Discussion / Re: BITCOIN
« on: December 24, 2013, 08:54:25 pm »
How do I get some BITCOINS?
How do I get those BITCOINS to SR?
This is very hard for an old not very computer savy dude!
I want to get some smoke!

You can easily purchase Bitcoin from,

[Clearnet] www.LocalBitcoins.com

If you're in the USA then you can easily deposit the funds into the vendors bank account in person at your local branch, after they confirm they have received the funds then you'll receive the Bitcoin into your LocalBitcoins account.

After that you'll need to make a Silk Road market account, once you have done that then go to the deposit page and you'll see 5 addresses. You can use any one of those 5 to deposit into your Silk Road account.

Now you're ready to send the coins into your Silk Road account, I highly recommend you use a tumbler to break any links back to your LocalBitcoins account. Some examples of tumbler services are,

[Clearnet] www.BitcoinFog.com (0.3 Minimum)
[Clearnet] www.blockchain.info/wallet/send-shared

Once you tumbled the coins into your account then you can go ahead and purchase from a vendor, but make sure you encrypt your address when giving the vendor your shipping details. If you're on a Windows or Linux system then I highly recommend PGP4USB,

[Clearnet] www.gpg4usb.cpunk.de/download.html

Keep in mind the market is closed until the 28th!

If you need more help then feel free to PM me!
