Customer Support / Re: How do I finalize a transaction?
« on: January 09, 2014, 12:33:00 am »
I have just made a couple of orders, and one vendor requires that I FE. (I've done my research and he/she seems to be reputable)

I can see my orders and a block of text at the top explaining Finalize / Dispute / Cancel - but no links?

In order to finalize a transaction the vendor needs to mark the order as 'Shipped', only then you're able to finalize early.

Hey, hope all is gooood.

Does anyone know if I can get my old forum account back from before?

Sorry if I have missed something...

Really dont fancy doing that whole 50 posts thang again....if I remember correctly I refused to spam and made every post some advise or something worthwhile...

Not feeling quite so millitant in reflection of the ball ache that it was.

Thanks!

You're unable to recover your account from the old forum, everyone starts with a fresh account here.

In future remember to keep multiple backups of important files such as your PGP private key!

Could you PM me the username of the person who sent you this message?

I had my coins in my account, went to add a little more and they suddenly vanished. Has this happened before?

Don't really want to hassle support with a message when they have 6000 pending if I can get a quick answer on here.

Cheers.

It's a known bug, they do turn up again so nothing to worry about. Have you tried clicking the 'Search for new deposits' button? Also completely restarting Tor sometimes corrects your balance also.

Search the deposit address you used on [Clearnet] www.Blockchain.info to see if BMR actually sent the Bitcoin to your Silk Road account.

Feature Requests / Re: Where did spell check on the forums go?
« on: January 08, 2014, 08:45:23 pm »
It's still working for me, if you right click a word and tick the 'Check Spelling' option then spell checker will be enabled.

Could a mod please help me? I'm nearly sure I haven't forgot my pin, but it claims it's incorrect.

If you've forgotten your pin then you'll need to contact marketplace support,

If you want to make a purchase then you won't need your pin to do so, you only need it if you want to make a withdrawal.

Tang, can i have my money back until you solve your problems??  ''soon as possible, I'm sorry for the delay.'' is not the answer we want to ear after pay the fee..

If your account still hasn't been upgraded after 5 days then you'll be able to cancel the transaction.

If you're unable to find the transaction on the blockchain then it means the Bitcoin hasn't been sent.

So is that a problem to do with the wallet service I'm using (it's an old exchange), or is it a problem to do with SR? I'm pretty sure the BTC has left my SR account, because I'm in minus credit now (by the amount that I withdrew!) - should I be contacting you guys, or the proprietors of the exchange where my wallet resides? or should I just continue to wait?

I appreciate the help by the way, I know you guys are seriously busy at the moment!

:)

If the transaction isn't showing up when you search the deposit address you got from the exchange you're using then I suggest you wait. We're trying to resolve the issue with slow deposits and withdrawals so hopefully it won't be too long of a wait.

If you're unable to find the transaction on [Clearnet] www.blockchain.info then it means the Bitcoin hasn't been sent yet.
