Newbie Discussion / Re: Blockchain Question
« on: January 11, 2014, 07:05:49 pm »
Tang, you seem to be someone who can help me too.  I recently withdrew funds from another site to the deposit address on SR2, and although the blockchain confirms this (99 times), my account hasn't been credited yet (it has been about 12 hours).  I guess it's not possible to withdraw funds to a deposit address.  I sent Support a message, but perhaps you can tell me if my BTC will ever end up in the account that I withdrew them to.  Thank you.

Deposits & withdrawals are delayed at the moment, your account will eventually be credited with your deposit.

Electrum,

[Clearnet] https://electrum.org/

It does not require you to download the blockchain.

Customer Support / Re: dissapearing BTC
« on: January 11, 2014, 06:59:15 pm »
I had like .1312 BTC in my accounts ($115USD) and then randomly when I was just browsing, it dissapeared from my account? I didn't make any purchases, it just dissapeared...?

It's a known bug, have you tried clicking the 'Check addresses for new deposits' button?

It's completely normal, your Bitcoin will be credited to your account soon.

Newbie Discussion / Re: Made my first order.. no feedback option?

You'll need to wait for the vendor to mark the transaction as 'Shipped' to finalize the transaction and also to leave feedback.

If you're receiving this warning while attempting to log into the marketplace, please perform the following steps.

1. Close down your TOR browser
2. Stop TOR
3. Start TOR
4. visit THIS url: http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion/

This should fix the error message, if you're still experiencing the error then keep pressing the 'New Identity' option until you succeed in accessing the market.

Customer Support / Re: Joined before the newbie section was put in

I joined the site before there was a 50 post requirement that I will never understand, and now I can't reply to a thread that I had already posted in. I don't want to have to sit around and post bullshit for some 45 more posts, so is there any way to grandfather those of us who joined early and only want to have rational posts and not a bunch of filler just to get on the main board?

I'm afraid you'll have to gain 50 posts if you wish to post outside of the 'Newbie Discussion' board.

Customer Support / Re: Incorrect Credentials!

I did have that placed in my profile thankfully.

I am correct in thinking that even if my account has been compromised, that they would still need the withdrawl password correct? Say they canceled all my orders and tried to pull my BTC out.

I'm thinking doomsday scenario over here, so if that's what happens i'll be prepped for it. And if it doesn't, well I will be pumped!

I also went ahead and reached out to my vendors to let them know of the situation since I have some pending orders and asked them if they had seen any cancellations

"I'm freaking out man. You are freaking out...mannnnnnnnn" hah

Correct, in order to withdraw funds from Silk Road you need to have the pin associated with the account.

Would also like to mentioned that I also created a temp account on the market as well and have sent a message to support.

I can verify everything with my account. I have PGP, withdrawl code, etc. Everything.

Please assist ASAP I have some pending orders to complete

Hopefully support will get back to you soon, if you have a PGP key associated with your marketplace account it will be as simple as signing a message.
