Format the USB stick and do a fresh install of Tails, follow this installation guide,

You shouldn't have any problems, I have personally done this last week when the Tails update was released.

ok, ill check it out.

Hey mary666 how ya been? :)

checked it out.....seems like the btc there sells for $100-150 more than market rate :(

my search continues

You honestly won't find a place to purchase Bitcoin at market rate unless you sign up to an exchange, this will require you to give them your identification. If you want to go that route then I recommend you use [Clearnet] www.CoinBase.com if you're based in the USA or BitStamp if you're from Europe.

Unfortunately it seems the transaction hasn't been seen by the network, this isn't a fault on Silk Road's end, you'll need to troubleshoot the problem on your end.

Hi Enderyakub,

Could you tell me which URL you're using to access the Silk Road marketplace?

So you sent 0.099 BTC to Silk Road using one of the five deposit addresses (13asXXXXXXXXXXXX) correct?

Hi Tempeldon,

If the transaction isn't showing up in the blockchain then there's nothing we can do to assist you, Silk Road hasn't recieved your funds.

Hi eggbird,

Your deposit of 0.04 will be credited to your account soon, have you tried clicking the 'Search addresses for new deposits' button?

Deposited 07-02 days and still nothing.
I'm desperate, can someone help us?

Have msg email to the admin.

Are you able to see your transaction when you search the deposit address you used on [Clearnet] www.Blockchain.info?

It will eventually work, I can only recommend that you keep trying until you're successful.

You'll only get scammed if you finalize early, auto-finalize is currently disabled so if you stay in escrow and you don't end up receiving your package then once the dispute center has been released you'll be able to dispute the transaction and receive a refund.

If you want to use other markets then that's fine too, I can understand if you're frustrated but running a marketplace like Silk Road isn't an easy task, there's much more to releasing features than simply coding them, you have to think about security to ensure the marketplace doesn't get compromised or even worse, law enforcement seize the marketplace all together - look what happened to Utopia!

It may take a while for everything to be up and running smoothly but the development team aren't willing to compromise on security just to get the features released quicker.
