Hi thekiller666,

Which URL did you use to access the marketplace?

I used http://[REDACTED - PHISHING LINK]

That's unfortunately a phishing site, in future avoid using the HiddenWiki to obtain URL's!

The Silk Road marketplace has been down for over 2 days, which URL are you using to access the marketplace?

Yes, we plan on returning every Bitcoin that was stolen. It won't be a fast process but you will eventually receive the funds back.

Did you have a PGP key associated with your account?

You won't be able to crack it, as shorts3 said, it's the reason why people use PGP in the first place!

Hi eggbird,

I recommend you try and get in contact with the vendors you purchased from, only they can tell if your package has been shipped or not. Have a look around the forum and see if you're able to find their forum accounts.

From the FAQ,

Quote
Will we be reimbursed at any point?

We have no idea how long this will take, but yes. Even if this takes us a year, all funds will eventually be repaid 100%.

You will eventually receive back the funds you had in your Silk Road account.

It's possible that the package is still in the mail system, I would wait until Monday then attempt to contact the vendor. Have you searched the forum to see if you're able to locate their forum account?

Hi bling bling,

It's not a scam message, it is just someone trying to get you to join Agora via their referral link so they can earn commission.

Customer Support / Re: Any news about opening?

Here's a FAQ written by 'V' with important information regarding the reopening of the marketplace.

This is the promised response to my recent thread: http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=25188.0

Duplicate questions have been merged, and all serious questions answered:

How much/what percentage was actually stolen?

The majority of the entire balance has gone. Because we were about to implement auto-finalization, we had transferred the vast majority of cold storage to hot storage to allow the massive volume in escrow to be withdrawn successfully once orders auto-finalized.

What is the plan of action going forward?

Silk Road will reopen, but until we have multi-sig escrow in place, we will only be offering out of escrow transactions.

When will we be able to login again?

The market's code has to be revised for out of escrow transactions, new fee-structures, and finally pen-tested to ensure these revisions do not comprise anything. Earliest projection is 72 hours unless the testing reveals potential flaws.

What will happen to each balance (in escrow, available, etc)?

As stated, virtually all was stolen. Some users have still been depositing BTC into their market accounts. This will be there when the market re-opens.

Will we be reimbursed at any point?

We have no idea how long this will take, but yes. Even if this takes us a year, all funds will eventually be repaid 100%.

Will vendor bonds be repaid still?

Yes, but as with the above, we do not right now know when the funds will be available to reimburse these bonds.

Will vendors have to buy their bond again?

No, existing vendors will not need to repurchase their bond.

Can you give more details on the bug and how it was exploited? Some things don't add up.

We are making an announcement that gives very explicit details regarding our understanding of how this happened. There is too much information to include here.

Will vendors whose bonds haven’t been processed yet still get their vendor account?

Yes. If you have paid your bond but not yet been upgraded, you will still get your vendor account.

How should we remain in contact with our trusted vendors?

You may still use Silk Road once it is up and running. For off-site communication with vendors you trust, we also recommend The Hub – a neutral meeting point for all dark markets with a strict no-trade rule: thehubaoydxrommh.onion

Can we dox the culprit if we think we know who it is?

Please come to us with any useful information you think you may have.

Will support issues like password resets still be dealt with, and when?

Yes, though there may be further delay as we tackle this immediate issue.

Has this exploit compromized any personal details that could lead to arrests?

No. Nobody gained server access.

What is happening with tracking the perpetrator?

We are still gathering information and conducting internal investigations.

It was accidentally deleted while someone was removing 100's of Agroa referral URL's that were being spammed, there's no confirmation window when you hit the 'Remove Topic' button so it's very easy to accidentally delete threads.
