Customer Support / Re: DEPOSIT

Hi essex3,

Have you tried clicking the 'Search addresses for new deposits' button? Could you also tell me which URL you're using to access the marketplace?

Tang.

Hi Sweetpoison,

I recommend you click the 'Cancel' button because if the vendor logs into their account and marks the transaction as 'Shipped' you'll lose those Bitcoin. The funds will be added to your 'Pending Balance' which will eventually be repaid to you.

You'll need to wait 5 days to cancel a transaction if the status is still 'Ordered'.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you've deposited Bitcoin into a phishing site, in future you should avoid using the HiddenWiki to obtain the Silk Road marketplace URL.

What was the URL you used to log in to SR?

What does Blockchain.info have to say about your deposit?

How can you send multiple support tickets when support is not functioning on the marketplace (brings it back to the first question.)?

I'm afraid your story doesn't add up Badoo13,

Have you tried clicking the 'Search addresses for new deposits' button?

The marketplace is going under maintenance at 10:30 UTC, hopefully this error you're experiencing when you're trying to place an order will be resolved.

We will be implementing infrastructure improvements from 22:30 until midnight on Feb 25th, UTC time zone. These improvements will require a brief downtime to implement safely.

Staff appreciates your commitment to this community. Sales are way higher than any of us anticipated. Now that we have a week's sales data, we will post an anticipated repayment timeline publicly soon after these infrastructure improvements are completed.

This post will be updated when the upgrades are complete.

Tell them to follow this guide,

Quote
Step 9- Import someone else's key to send them an encrypted message.  You can use my own from above to test this. Select and highlight the entire chain of text from the very first to very last dash of the key block (important not to miss even one of the dashes). Now hold ctrl and click this highlighted text and select "Services"- "Open PGP: Import key". Now you will have my Public Key in your keychain and you will be able to write to me an encrypted message from your own private key.
*Also you will need to copy and paste a key to TextEdit to be able to import it to the keychain.*

Step 10 - Write a message you wish to encrypt in TextEdit. Select all the text and hold ctrl and click. From the menu go to "Services" and select "Open PGP: Encrypt".
You will now have a window from GPG tools asking who is the recipient and the secret key (your secret key that your created above).
Do this and your message will now become encrypted text that only the recipient that you selected can open. Copy and paste this text to wherever you need to use it such as messages or address details.
This is what you will need to do to send any PGP messages or address details to vendors or friends.

They're probably using GPG4USB, tell them to make sure they're ticking the box next to your PGP key before clicking 'Encrypt'.

It's so nobody purchases the listing while they're not currently active, although they could just put their account into 'Vacation Mode'.
