When registering an account on the market site please ensure you include your PGP public key and activate the two-factor authentication as this will not only protect you against phishing it will also ensure you can validate yourself as the account owner should you be required to do so. At this point in time SR admins are unable to verify accounts via any other means, please ensure you use your PGP key in conjunction with your account. the two-factor authentication is NOT idiot-proof (not yet, anyway). 1) Paste the wrong public key into there, and you will be locked out of your account. There is no confirmation screen where someone can confirm they used the right key. 2) Keys generated by Kleopatra won't work, as they have NO encryption sub-key. Keys without an encryption sub-key will give an error. If you need to reset your market site pass phrase then you will need to contact Silk Road Support via the market site. To do this you will need to register a new temp account and click on where it says in the bottom right hand corner of the home page.
