This thread will be updated over time.
Two-factor authentication (TFA)
When registering an account on the market site please ensure you include your PGP public key and activate the two-factor authentication as this will not only protect you against phishing it will also ensure you can validate yourself as the account owner should you be required to do so.
At this point in time SR admins are unable to verify accounts via any other means, please ensure you use your PGP key in conjunction with your account.
Please note: the two-factor authentication is NOT idiot-proof (not yet, anyway).
1) Paste the wrong public key into there, and you will be locked out of your account. There is no confirmation screen where someone can confirm they used the right key.
2) Keys generated by Kleopatra won't work, as they have NO encryption sub-key. Keys without an encryption sub-key will give an error.
Market Site Pass Phrase Reset
If you need to reset your market site pass phrase then you will need to contact Silk Road Support via the market site. To do this you will need to register a new temp account and click on where it says SUPPORT in the bottom right hand corner of the home page.

Forum Password Resets:-
If you forget your forum password or you are no longer able to log into your account for some reason you will need to register a new temporary account and send a PGP signed message to a moderator requesting a password reset.
Therefore please make sure that you include your PGP public key in your forum profile because without it, it may not be possible to verify you as the rightful owner of the account you have lost access too.
Requesting Vendor Verification:-
Sarge and inigo are taking care of all former vendor account verifications, they can be contacted here:
Inigo (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?action=profile;u=2323)
Sarge (http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?action=profile;u=208)
There is a specific process that needs to be followed to enable your verification, detailed instructions can be found at this link:
http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=271.msg3002#msg3002
Becoming a vendor on Silk Road:-
At this point in time all vendor account verifications for new vendors are being personally handled by Sarge. Please contact Sarge via their Thread here: http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=9108.0 to arrange payment of the bond at which time your account will be upgraded.
If You are currently a vendor on SR, You can get your forum name updated with a Vendor tag & access to the Vendors RoundTable
After you have $1,500 in sales, with at least 30 Transactions and have been a Vendor for at least 6 weeks.
Delays with bitcoin deposits and withdrawals:-
This issue can happen from time to time, deposits and/or withdrawals become delayed and when this happens the community can become highly anxious.
The first thing you need to do before anything else is check the transaction via the block chain at this address:
[Clearnet Warning] https://blockchain.info/
If the transaction has received at least 6 confirmations and it has been over 8 hours since you initiated it then you should contact Silk Road admin support via the market site at this link:
http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion/users/support/message
Please be aware that you cannot get support for depot and withdrawal related issues via the forums as forum moderators have no administrator privileges on the market site.
If You're Missing Bitcoins
If you are missing Bitcoins and If your account hasn't been compromised then the coins are still there, just click the "Search for new deposits" button, and the balance should fix itself. You can also close the TBB and that should correct the problem.
If this does not resolve the issue you will need to contact SR support on the market site page. To do this you will need to click on the
GREEN SUPPORT BUTTON where it says SUPPORT in the bottom right hand corner of the home page.
Then WAIT, 24 hours for a Response.

Why can't I post in all areas of the forums?
There is a 50 post rule that restricts all forum accounts to posting either in the newbie section and here in customer support until you have made 50 posts. This rule was introduced to help combat spam and will not be changing.
