Customer Support / Re: 0.25 BTC lost from my deposits account

Locked as resolved.

If the order has been unconfirmed for 4 days or longer then you should be able to cancel it yourself. SR support is experiencing longer than normal response times due to the DDoS, you should hear back from then soon though as they work through the backlog.

Customer Support / Re: No deposit addresses listed under account

Will pass it up now.

So are you saying my address is not available to them once an order is finalised? Just looking for a straight answer...

Not via the market site no, all shipping details are deleted from the server when an order is confirmed and marked as shipped.

It is also expressly forbidden for vendors to keep buyer details.

Security / Re: ***OFFICIAL BITCOIN PRICE THREAD***
« on: December 10, 2013, 08:37:29 pm »
It does make me smile when reading this thread, none of us has a fucking clue what bitcoin will do but everyone's an expert ;)

I have to say seeing it climb back up to $1k usd after last weekends dramatic drop has taken me a little by surprise, just further reinforces my understanding of knowing fuck all about what's driving the price.

I might buy some today, can someone remind me why I didn't buy on Sunday when it was $650?

Customer Support / Re: Lost deposit
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:36:14 pm »
Hi!
Yesterday i made two deposits to my SR-account,
The first transaction got to my SR-account, but the other transaction was completed but I couldn't see it on my account-balance. Later I saw that a withdrawal was made from my SR-wallet to two other wallets.

Both deposits was of about 0.14 BTC each but I only have 0.14 in my account balance. Iv'e seen that other members of this forum have similar problems. I also haven't used some suspicious link (iI use this URL when i log in: http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion).

what happened to my money? can i expect to get it back?  im not comfortable in putting more money into the site right now....and I can''t send a message to the sitesupport (when I send the message I get the message as when i fail to login...)

So to clarify, are you saying you made two separate deposits to your SR wallet but only one has shown up and you are unable to submit a customer support ticket?

Silk Road Discussion / Re: Old SR-1 Forums down
« on: December 10, 2013, 07:26:07 pm »
Haven't seen this mentioned.   Is the bill finally past-due?

If so...

Good bye SR-1 Forums, you served us well.   <I salute>

May you rest in peace.

Was overdue a month ago as I understand it, surprised it stayed up as long as it did.

Still quite sad if it has finally gone, haven't been near it since the bust.

Synergy, if it is a bad idea to leave bitcoins in an online marketplace wallet (and I happen to agree) why is SR2, in which you apparently have a vested interest, an exception to this rule??

It's not, read my other posts.

I would strongly advise against putting your BTC on other markets just now.

Entirely your call of course, just don't say you were not warned.

Ok so IRL Synergy is a fucking psychic so anyone with sense should take heed to his advice. He warned me in this exact same manner about Sheep and my dumb ass  paid the newly implemented $500 fee for Sheep and the fuckers went down three days later. Either Synergy has a crystal ball, inside scoop, or the heart to warn people before he steals coins from sites, either way listen to him.....you have been warned.  :-\

When you spend as much time online as I do you get a good overview of events past, present and future.

As i said have a good read of these forums, things are pretty volatile right now and after when happened with SMP I would hope everyone was making sensible choices about not storing their btc on any market place right now including this one.

I care about what happens to the members of this community and there has been enough collateral damage wrought all ready in recent months, please just make sensible choices and store your coins safely.

Hi Synergy,

could you break down why you give the advice in the earlier post, I understand you have an invested interest but on which other basis do you give this advice?

Read these forums, I'm not the only one erring on the side of caution.

No one should be leaving BTC in online market site wallets anyway, that's just common sense.

The suggestion is to make transactions elsewhere while the site is down not to bank BTC. That's why it led me to believe your had other reasoning's.

Is there any reason in you view as to why someone shouldn't trade on Tor Market?

I am a consumer, I have no other motive other than to trade smoothly in whichever market that is run in a smooth trading experience, so therefore would like to hear your opinion

My opinion of Tormarket would hardly be viewed as impartial now would it?

I am SO impressed (NOT) with the extra security feature (captcha) required to prevent users from posting messages [Reason #2 for NOT using this site].

[Reason #1 for NOT using this site] - the 50 post rule for "newbies" (uh, aren't we all newbies here?)

[Reason #2 for NOT using this site] - the extra verification required to post messages in the forums.

Interesting to see the newbie and customer support boards flooded with these types of posts over recent days.
